Because at Solventum, we never stop solving for you.\nThe Impact You’ll Make in this Role\nAs a Material Handler/Manufacturing Associate (Kitting Production and Material Movement), you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:\nTo complete manufacturing work-steps under general supervision and within the defined standards according to specifications using only the defined production aids, equipment, tooling and materials.\nTo verify at each work-step, by utilizing appropriate tests and inspections, that the quality of all products or components produced meets clearly defined quality standards.\nVerify in conjunction with the Quality department, the quality of product produced prior to commencement/recommencement of production.\nEnsure the required levels of raw materials are maintained by controlling the appropriate Kanbans within the department.\nComplete online documentation and highlight deviations to appropriate people.\nParticipate in identifying, drawing attention to and resolving problems on the line as members of the department teams.\nEnsure that all required documentation and charts are completed correctly as per approved S.O.P.’s.\nFollow all G.M.P. procedures such as good housekeeping, hygiene and safety practices etc. as outlined by the various regulatory bodies such as FDA, ISO and Solventum Policies.\nEnsure that the Time Keeping and Attendance policy is observed and followed.\nAbide by Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Policies and any relevant EHS documentation.\nWill comply with all relevant training required and adhere to relevant associated documentation.\nMove materials as necessary to support production activities\nOperate pallet jacks and Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV) as required by tasking\nAssist warehouse personnel in assigned tasks as necessary\nSuccessfully demonstrate and support Solventum values, code of conduct & compliance.\nSuccessfully demonstrate and support a positive safety environment.\nAbility to clearly demonstrate communication and team engagement skills.\nDemonstrate a clean and orderly workspace.\nParticipate in daily meetings with site leadership.\nAbility to work to set Takt rate in a fast-paced environment.\nYour Skills and Expertise\nTo set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma/GED And up to (1) year of combined experience in manufacturing, electrical/mechanical/pneumatic assembly, warehouse environment in a private, public, government or military environment.\nAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:\nExperience with hand tools, label printers, tape dispensers, operating computers and computer aided equipment\nExperience with powered industrial vehicles (PIV) and pallet jack.\nBackground in manufacturing electronic/mechanical/pneumatic equipment quality control production environment.\nStrong Teamwork abilities.\nStrong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and self-motivational skills.\nWork location: Onsite - San Antonio, TX-United States\nMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).\nSupporting Your Well-being\nSolventum offers many programs to help you live your best life - both physically and financially.
