Because at Solventum, we never stop solving for you.\nThe Impact You’ll Make in this Role\nThe Quality Engineer with 7+ years of experience in manual testing, committed to delivering high-quality software. This role involves designing effective test cases, conducting comprehensive validations, and ensuring overall product quality. The individual collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, demonstrates strong adaptability as a quick learner, and responds effectively to evolving priorities and business needs, including exposure to Gen AI-driven testing approaches. Additionally, the role requires strong proficiency and experience in testing across Web, Desktop, API, Service, Database, and 3D/WebGL-based applications.\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDesign, develop, and execute test cases (manual and automated) across UI, API, and database layers.\nContribute to testing and enhance coverage using tools like ADO.\nPerform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.\nCollaborate closely with Developers, BAs, and QA team members to ensure testability and quality of features.\nActively participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives).\nExecute API testing using tools like Postman and validate service responses.\nPerform database validation using SQL queries (MS SQL / SQL Server).\nIdentify, log, track, and verify defects, support defect triage and RCA discussions.\nContribute to test data preparation and management.\nSupport test case optimization by identifying redundant or low-value test cases.\nEnsure test coverage across integrated systems and cross-platform end-to-end workflows.\nValidate applications deployed in Azure cloud environments (basic understanding).\nAdhere to QA processes, documentation standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.\nSupport CI/CD pipelines by integrating and executing automated test suites.\nValidate complex business rules, configuration-driven behavior, and deterministic system outputs across platforms.\n(Nice to have) Support compliance with healthcare/medical standards (e.g., HIPAA, IEC 62304) where applicable.\n(Nice to have) Experience testing distributed systems involving multiple integrated platforms or services\nKey Qualifications & Experience:\n7+ years of experience in Software Testing (Manual).\nExperience in Web UI testing\nGood understanding of API testing using Postman or similar tools.\nStrong knowledge of SQL for database validation.\nExposure to GitHub and basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.\nUnderstanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.\nExposure to cross-browser testing and responsive UI validation.\nExperience in testing 3D/WebGL-based applications.\n(Nice to have) ISTQB certification.\nKey Competencies:\nStrong written, verbal, and active listening skills.\nAttention to detail and commitment to quality deliverables.\nCultural intelligence and adaptability in diverse environments.\nCollaborate closely with developers on testability and code quality.\nAbility to align quality objectives with product vision and engineering goals.\nOpenness to leveraging AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency and innovation in testing.\nAbility to learn and adapt to healthcare products, new tools and technologies quickly.\nWork location: Bangalore: Hybrid\nSolventum is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in our recruitment process.
