Here, you will make an impact by:\nHow you will make an impact\nReview quarterly income tax provision packages for international entities\nReview return-to-provision true-ups for international entities\nAssist with the Effective Tax Rate calculations and analysis\nPrepare tax account reconciliations\nPrepare and lead cash tax reconciliation and reporting\nAssist in the overall preparation and documentation of the income tax footnote and disclosures for Forms 10-Q and 10-K SEC filings.\nPrepare and coordinate the work plan for each quarter close\nPrepare supporting documents for internal controls and assist in ensuring the controls are executed properly\nAssist with tax technology transformations to improve processes\nResearch income tax accounting issues\nAssist with various other projects as needed.\nYour Skills and Expertise\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree or higher AND over 5 years of experience in public accounting and/or a multinational corporate tax department.\nStrong ASC 740 (U.S. GAAP accounting guidance for income taxes) and corporate income tax knowledge base required\nAND\nIn addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:\nAnalytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax regulations and assess their impact on the business.\nCommunication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey tax concepts to non-tax professionals.\nAttention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all aspects of tax compliance and reporting.\nOrganizational Agility: ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.\nTechnology Proficiency: Proficiency with OneSource Tax Provision, SAP, OneStream and MS Excel (experience with Alteryx a plus)\nTeam Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues across different functions and locations.\nAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:\nExperience with corporate income tax laws in multiple jurisdictions.\nProven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements.\nWork location: Bangalore (Hybrid)\nTravel: 10% of travel\nSolventum is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in our recruitment process.
