This role combines deep technical expertise, architectural leadership, and a client-facing consultancy approach – from the first technical conversation all the way to a solution running in production. If you like owning a data platform project end-to-end, from strategy to delivery, this is your role.\n\nWhat we are looking for:\n\n5+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Architecture, including hands-on delivery of complex projects\n\nAdvanced hands-on experience and deep architectural understanding of Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse/Data Warehouse, Synapse Data Engineering, Data Factory)\n\nStrong proficiency in SQL and Python or PySpark, along with transformation and orchestration tools (dbt, Airflow, or native cloud tools)\n\nFamiliarity with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern engineering/DevOps practices\n\nProven experience leading client-facing engagements, including technical presales or solution consulting\n\nExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience leading architectural workshops and explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences\n\nA track record of leading or mentoring project teams, and taking ownership of delivery outcomes\n\nFluency in English, both written and spoken\n\nA plus would be if you have:\n\nRelevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate / DP-600, or similar)\n\nExperience with Data Mesh concepts, Data Governance, or real-time data processing (streaming)\n\nExperience with financial, banking, telco, or other regulated-industry data projects\n\nExperience with LLM/AI-driven solutions and modern agentic or GenAI architectures\n\nYour role at Solvership:\n\nArchitecture & Design: Define and implement end-to-end modern data platforms using leading cloud technologies\n\nConsulting Leadership: Advise clients on technology selection, cost optimization, security, and migration strategies from legacy systems to a modern data stack\n\nTechnical Execution: Build complex ETL/ELT data pipelines, perform data modeling (Data Vault, Star Schema), and establish DataOps and CI/CD practices\n\nPresales & Solutioning: Lead technical presales activities – understand client needs, shape the proposed solution, and present it convincingly to stakeholders\n\nDelivery Oversight: Translate business requirements into clear technical roadmaps, and monitor project delivery to ensure quality, timelines, and client expectations are met\n\nMentorship: Provide technical leadership for engineering teams, conduct code reviews, establish internal standards, and mentor junior team members\n\nStakeholder Management: Act as the main technical point of contact for clients, building long-term trust and relationships\n\nWhy Solvership?\n\nDive into cutting-edge technology, supported by a personalized development plan that evolves with you, along with a dedicated budget to fuel your continuous learning\n\nCollaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry, where innovation and expertise drive every project forward\n\nWork on exciting, high-impact projects across a range of industries, from banking to telco, healthcare, retail to tech and beyond\n\nWe’re all about your career growth!
