Are you ready to join us?\nIn this role, you will:\nDesign and deliver core architecture:\nLead the design and development of secure, reliable microservices, applying best practices in software architecture\nDefine, document, and drive the adoption of efficient end-to-end SDLC and CI/CD automation pipelines\nProactively monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of deployed applications\nBuild Web3 & privacy-preserving systems:\nIntegrate VIA's Web3 components and privacy-preserving technologies (e.g., cryptography, passwordless login, classical & post-quantum cryptography, zero knowledge proofs)\nDevelop and execute comprehensive automated testing strategies to ensure high software quality and robustness\nContinuously explore and integrate advancements in privacy, cryptography, and distributed systems\nCollaborate on strategy & best practices:\nServe as a subject matter expert in privacy and security, guiding project delivery and technical choices\nClearly articulate complex software designs and technical processes to diverse, cross-functional teams\nRequirements\n What you will bring to this role:\nBachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or science\n5+ years of relevant full-stack or backend development experience\nStrong experience with cloud-based microservices architecture, including zero-trust design principles\nExperience developing RESTful APIs (e.g., FastAPI) secured by OAuth2/JWT\nExperience integrating asymmetric and/or symmetric encryption, hashing, and digital signatures in applications\nExposure to Web3 technologies such as smart contracts and multi-signature setups\nWorking knowledge of Docker containers and Helm charts\nAbility to advocate for technical excellence and maintain high software engineering standards\nProven ability to give and receive thoughtful feedback on design documents\nPrevious experience leading an Agile team of developers (a plus)\nExposure to blockchain systems, zero-knowledge proofs, IETF RFCs, or FIPS/NIST/CNSA-validated cryptography (a plus)\nExposure to Istio Service Mesh and observability tooling (a plus)\nWorking knowledge of data structures, algorithms, databases (SQL and NoSQL), and in-memory data storage (a plus)\nWhat does it take to be a successful VIAneer?
