Interpret data sets using statistical techniques and other tools, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytic efforts.\n --ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCATED WITHIN A 60 MILE RANGE OF THE KETTERING, OHIO OFFICE--\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS \nGathers and Interprets data associated with Quality Control, analyzes results using statistical techniques, and provides ongoing reports.\nDevelop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.\nAcquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.\nIdentify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.\nFilter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.\nWork with management to prioritize business and information needs.\nLocate and define new process improvement opportunities.\nFunctions as a QC Inventory Control Specialist.\nPerform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice.\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\n\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE\nBS and/or equivalent experience.\nThree years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, clinical laboratory, tissue banking, or pharmaceutical/other manufacturing environments.\nProven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.\nTechnical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.\nKnowledge of and experience with data visualization software (Power BI etc.), databases (SQL, etc.), programming (Python, XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks).\nKnowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.)\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.\nAdept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.\n\nWORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES\nMust be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.\nColor vision is required.\nDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS \nBS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or similar.
