{"id":3644764,"url":"https://alion.io/job/solvita-tissue-processing-supervisor-second-shift","title":"Tissue Processing Supervisor - Second Shift","company":{"id":2792907,"name":"Solvita","domain":"cts.com","url":"https://alion.io/company/cts-com","size_band":null,"is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"Dayforce","truth_index":null},"role":"Industrial Engineering","role_family":"Industrial Engineering","seniority":"junior","employment_type":null,"work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["Kettering, United States"],"countries":["US"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":null,"salary_estimate":null,"experience_years_min":2,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-11-02T05:00:00Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-11-02","last_verified_at":"2026-11-06T22:40:20Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":4,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":4},"description":"About the Role \nSupervises and leads assigned area of the operations section of Manufacturing and ensures safe and effective processing of human tissue grafts for transplantation.\n\nThis is a second shift position working Monday - Friday 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm in our dental manufacturing area.\n\nWhat You'll Do \nLead, promote and drive the safety culture and preventative activities.\nAccountable for the quality of the product, paperwork, and procedures followed in all processing activities.\nPromote leadership, mentoring, coaching and inclusion to all employees.\nEnsure all activities honor The Gift by maximizing opportunities to make grafts transplantable.\nAssist the Manager and Director in selection, training, orientation, supervision, evaluation, development, counseling, and accountability of employees.\nDevelop, implement and manage all relevant standard operation procedures, work instructions, job aids, and other procedures as needed for the uniformity and quality of operations.\nMaintain regulated operations in keeping with all applicable standards of accreditation and all regulatory requirements.\nAssist in budget development and ongoing monitoring of expenses.\nResolve, complete, and ensure corrective actions on all CARs and NCRs are complete and timely to prevent recurrence.\nApprove employee paid time off, manage employee schedules.\nManage schedules of process suites and teams to meet the weekly and monthly processing requirements.\nLead team and mentors new Solvita employees through documented training.\nResponsible for ensuring employees are following all applicable procedures, safety guidelines, training, policies and standards.\nEnsure all allografts tissue are accurately processed, measured, labeled, packaged, and documented in a timely manner.\nInspect grafts for quality, packaging integrity, and accuracy of documentation.\nIn conjunction with Quality Control, responsible for operating and ensuring processing equipment is in good working order.
