Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll provide project coordination, administration, reporting and stakeholder support, helping ensure projects are delivered effectively and achieve positive outcomes for Somerset residents.\nHow You'll Make a Difference\nProvide project coordination and administrative support to the Connect to Work programme and associated projects.\nHelp maintain project plans, action trackers, risk logs and programme documentation.\nSupport the preparation of reports, presentations and performance information for a range of stakeholders.\nOrganise meetings, prepare agendas, take notes and monitor actions to support effective project delivery.\nAssist with gathering, analysing and presenting information to support planning and decision-making.\nWork with colleagues across employment, skills and inclusion services to support collaboration and information sharing.\nHelp identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce duplication and enhance the customer journey for residents.\nMaintain accurate project records and ensure documentation is organised and up to date.\nSupport stakeholder engagement and communications activities.\nComplete your apprenticeship training and work towards a Level 4 Project Management qualification.\nWhat You'll Bring\nAn interest in project management and service improvement.\nStrong organisational skills and attention to detail.\nGood verbal and written communication skills.\nThe ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.\nConfidence building positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.\nA proactive approach and willingness to learn new skills.\nGood IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.\nThe ability to work both independently and as part of a team.\nGCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above, or a willingness to achieve these as part of the apprenticeship.\nWhy Join Us?\nAt Somerset Council, we're a progressive organisation committed to improving lives and shaping better services for our communities.
