Our projects are global and involve direct contact with clients.\nThe role\nWe’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to architect and manage the AWS ecosystem behind a Data and AI platform for one of our clients. Your main mission is to build a developer self-service environment: the Fullstack and AI engineers on the team should have the infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and observability tools they need to move fast without compromising security.\nYou’ll own the cloud-native strategy and replace manual configuration with Infrastructure as Code. This isn’t about managing servers. You’ll be building a scalable, automated platform that treats infrastructure as a product.\nWhat you’ll do\nDesign, build and evolve the AWS infrastructure for a Data and AI platform, fully defined as code.\n\nBuild CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, security scanning and blue/green deployments.\n\nRun and scale containerized workloads on EKS or ECS.\n\nDesign the network layer, including VPCs, peering, Transit Gateways and load balancing, with real-time data streams in mind.\n\nApply security best practices across the stack: least-privilege IAM, secret management and encryption at rest and in transit.\n\nSet up monitoring and observability around the Golden Signals.\n\nConfigure and tune databases (RDS PostgreSQL and vector databases) for high availability and performance.\n\nWork closely with Fullstack and AI engineers so the platform fits how they build.\n\nMust have\n7+ years of experience in Infrastructure or Systems Engineering, with a strong focus on AWS.\n\nInfrastructure as Code: you’ve mastered Terraform or Pulumi. We expect zero “ClickOps”: everything is version-controlled.\n\nContainer orchestration: deep experience with Amazon EKS (Kubernetes) or ECS, including Fargate, service mesh and scaling policies.\n\nCI/CD: you’ve designed and maintained complex pipelines in GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins.\n\nCloud-native networking: VPC design, peering, Transit Gateways and load balancing (ALB/NLB).\n\nSecurity and compliance: least-privilege IAM, secret management (AWS Secrets Manager or HashiCorp Vault) and encryption at rest and in transit.\n\nMonitoring and observability: Prometheus/Grafana, Datadog or New Relic.\n\nDatabase operations: configuring and tuning RDS (PostgreSQL) and vector databases.\n\nEnglish level B2 or higher.\n\nAvailability to work mainly on Eastern Time (EST).\n\nNice to have\nData and AI infrastructure: AWS SageMaker, MLOps pipelines (Kubeflow), or GPU-backed instances for AI inference.\n\nServerless: AWS Lambda and EventBridge for real-time event streams.\n\nCost optimization: a track record keeping cloud spend under control with Cost Explorer, Reserved Instances or Savings Plans.\n\nSRE mindset: defining SLOs and running blameless
