This position will contribute significantly to delivering impactful, actionable analytics that inform risk managers and business leaders.\nThe role focuses primarily on assessing and managing natural catastrophe risks across multiple lines of business, supporting effective catastrophe risk mitigation for the company.\nLocation: This position will be based out of our London office. We strive for collaboration which is why we offer a work environment where our employees thrive and develop long lasting careers.\nOur business, your impact, our opportunity\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nPerform Group roll-ups in Resolver utilizing roll-ups and information provided by Insurance, Reinsurance and Ceded Re. On a regular basis this is done for: in-force roll-ups, business planning, SHD reporting, prospective ceded reinsurance purchasing options and to support portfolio growth opportunities\nAnalyse and interpret the roll-ups in order to provide insight and commentary into the modelled nat cat risk profile of the organization.\nProduce, maintain, and refine group reports.\nOperate and optimise natural catastrophe risk analytics tools and workflows, seeking opportunities for automation to reduce manual intervention.\nInterpret and manage the integration of ceded contracts within exposure management tools.\nCollaborate with various business stakeholders, responding to ad-hoc requests and needs which require the team’s expertise and output.\nProvide high-quality input on analytical projects, delivering insights and recommendations to the business.\nProvide support as directed and required to Natural Catastrophe Risk Analytics development projects. These do not have to be limited to activities primarily in the scope of Group Risk Analytics and can encompass, but is not limited to, model validation support, new model adoption support, cat model operations oversight and governance, and natural catastrophe research.\nSupport the Natural Catastrophe Exposure Management Lead, Group Risk Analytics team, and broader Group Risk function as needed.\nWhat you’ll bring:\nProven experience in exposure management, natural catastrophe risk analytics, or related fields, with multi-line business reporting experience.\nAdvanced proficiency in SQL and MS Excel; experience with Python, Power BI, and/or Julia is desirable.\nStrong programming skills for tool creation, optimization, and process automation.\nExtensive experience with third-party natural catastrophe models, particularly RMS RiskLink (Risk Modeler experience is a plus).\nTechnical or analytical background, especially in natural hazards, is an advantage.\nExperience with man-made and systemic risks is beneficial.\nAbility to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights despite uncertainty or incomplete data.\nCertified Specialist in Catastrophe Risk (CSCR) or equivalent preferred; CCRA (RMS) or CEEM (AIR) certifications are beneficial.\nStrong teamwork, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nPragmatic approach with intellectual curiosity.\nOur Benefits\nWe continuously evaluate and update our benefit programs to ensure that our plans meet the needs of our employees and their dependents.
