In this role, you will join a team focused on ensure the maximum availability and performance of equipment and facilities, and contribute to a circular economy model.\nThe impact of your role\nContribute to strengthening the organisation’s cyber resilience by supporting the detection, investigation and response to security threats across IT and OT environments, helping to reduce vulnerabilities and continuously improve cybersecurity practices.\nMain responsibilities\nSupport the analysis and investigation of security alerts escalated by the SOC, under the guidance of senior team members.\nAssist in monitoring security events using platforms such as Microsoft Security, CrowdStrike, and Microsoft Sentinel.\nSupport incident response activities, including evidence collection and documentation.\nParticipate in vulnerability management activities, including tracking remediation actions and validating security updates.\nAssist in the maintenance and improvement of cybersecurity documentation, procedures, and playbooks.\nContribute to security reporting, dashboards, and operational metrics.\nSupport awareness and security improvement initiatives across IT and OT environments.\nParticipate in security exercises, simulations, and post-incident reviews as part of the learning process.\nCollaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, workplace, and OT teams on security-related projects.\nDevelop technical and professional cybersecurity skills through hands-on activities, training, and mentorship.\nDesired profile\nWhat you must have:\nBachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Networks, or related areas.\nStrong interest in Cybersecurity and willingness to learn in a dynamic enterprise environment.\nBasic knowledge of networking, operating systems, and cybersecurity principles.\nBasic understanding of security monitoring, incident response, or vulnerability management concepts.\nKnowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python is valued.\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication and teamwork capabilities.\nProficiency in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken is mandatory.\nRelevant academic projects, internships, personal labs, certifications, or cybersecurity competitions will be considered an advantage.\nHighly motivated, curious, proactive, and eager to develop a career in Cybersecurity.\nWhat we consider a nice to have:\nFamiliarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, or security technologies is a plus.\nAwareness of cybersecurity frameworks and concepts such as MITRE ATT&CK is a plus.\nWhat we offer:\nIntegration into a solid, international company.\nCulture focused on innovation and sustainability.\nOpportunities for personal and professional development.\nContinuous training.\nAttractive remuneration and benefits policy.\nOur way of being\nAt Sonae Arauco, we value attitudes and behaviours that reflect our organizational culture.
