We are now looking to recruit an experienced MRLOto join our global team. \nPosition Overview: \nSonata One is seeking an experienced MLRO to ensure robust regulatory compliance across our operations and client mandates. This role is critical in strengthening our governance framework, managing regulatory relationships, and maintainingthe highest standards of integrity.\nYou will act as a key compliance partner to the business, liaising with regulators, external agents, and internal stakeholders to ensure full adherence to Luxembourg requirements.\nResponsibilities: \nEnsure full compliance with CaymanIslandsAML/CFT/CPF laws.\nAct as Money Laundering Reporting Officer & Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer appointed to client mandates.\nImplement and maintainAML/CFT/CPF policies, procedures, and internal controls.\nConduct regular risk assessments across clients and operational processes.\nOversee ongoing monitoring and due diligence processes.\nCoordinate annual AML/CFT audits and internal reviews.\nDocument findings and ensure timelyremediation of issues.\nServe as a compliance contact for internal teams, clients, and external agents.\nProvide guidance on regulatory requirements and emerging risks.\nManage expectations and proactively address conflicts between compliance obligations and client needs.\nIdentifyenhancements to compliance frameworks and operational workflows.\nContribute to process automation and adoption of digital AML tools.\nSupport training initiatives and promote a strong compliance culture. \nExperience Required: \nStrong knowledge of Cayman Island AML/CFT/CPF regulations.\nPrior experience as MLRO, Deputy MLRO, AML Compliance Officer in financial services, ideally in the funds sector.\nProven ability to communicate effectively with regulators, clients, and senior stakeholders.\nExcellent stakeholder management, judgement, and communication skills\nEducation Required: \n- University degree in Law, Finance, Compliance, or related field. \nBeing part of Sonata Oneprovides a collaborative and inclusive work culture that values innovation and diversity.
