The candidate will be responsible for technical design, development, integrations, customizations, data migration, security, performance, and technical delivery of HRM capabilities.\n\nThe Role requires Strong hands-on experience in end-to-end D365 F&O / HRM implementations, covering technical design, development, integrations, data migration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDesign and develop solutions for D365 HRM / Human Resources capabilities.\n\nDevelop and customize D365 F&O using X++, extensions, Chain of Command (CoC), event handlers, forms, tables, classes, workflows, batch processes, and data entities.\n\nWork closely with Functional Consultants, Architects, Product Managers, and business stakeholders to convert requirements into technical designs.\n\nDesign and implement integrations between D365 and external/internal systems using appropriate D365 and Azure integration technologies.\n\nDevelop and support Data Management Framework (DMF) entities and data migration solutions.\n\nHandle legacy data migration, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and cutover activities.\n\nDesign and implement role-based security, duties, privileges, and data-access controls.\n\nPerform code reviews and ensure adherence to D365 development standards and best practices.\n\nTroubleshoot complex application, integration, batch, data, and performance issues.\n\nSupport performance optimization for high-volume processing, batch jobs, queries, and integrations.\n\nParticipate in technical design reviews and provide technical estimates for user stories and capabilities.\n\nSupport build, deployment, environment management, release readiness, and production-support activities.\n\nCreate and maintain technical design documents, deployment documentation, troubleshooting guides, and technical handover documentation.\n\nMentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the development team.\n\nWork within an Agile/Sprint-based delivery model, supporting parallel development across multiple HRM capabilities.\n\nRequired Technical Skills\n\nStrong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations development.\n\nStrong expertise in X++ and the D365 extension framework.\n\nExperience with Visual Studio and D365 development environments.\n\nExperience with Azure DevOps for source control, branching, builds, work-item management, and deployment processes.\n\nGood understanding of Azure integration technologies applicable to enterprise D365 implementations.\n\nExperience with data migration and high-volume data processing.\n\nStrong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills.\n\nUnderstanding of D365 application lifecycle, environment management, deployment, and release processes.\n\nABOUT SONATA SOFTWARE\nSonata Software is an AI-first modernization engineering company that helps enterprises transform legacy systems into intelligent, scalable business platforms.
