The candidate should have proven experience in enterprise architecture, technical leadership, customer engagement, and complex identity solution design.\n\nRole Overview\n\nWe are looking for a Principal Solution Architect / Identity SME to lead Microsoft Identity Management engagements for enterprise customers. The role requires deep technical expertise in MIM 2016, identity synchronization and provisioning, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and identity security.\n\nThe candidate will be responsible for defining solution architecture, conducting technical assessments, resolving complex identity challenges, guiding engineering teams, and providing strategic recommendations for identity modernization and cloud adoption.\n\nKey Responsibilities:-\n\n  Lead enterprise Identity & Access Management (IAM) architecture, solution design, and technical strategy.\n  Act as the senior technical SME for Microsoft Identity Management / MIM 2016 engagements.\n  Conduct customer discovery sessions, architecture workshops, assessments, and design reviews.\n  Design and review identity synchronization, provisioning, authentication, authorization, and lifecycle-management solutions.\n  Provide technical leadership for complex MIM implementations, integrations, migrations, and production issues.\n  Perform architecture reviews and recommend modernization and migration strategies toward Microsoft Entra ID and cloud-based identity services.\n  Lead root-cause analysis and resolution of complex identity and synchronization issues.\n  Provide technical governance, standards, best practices, and mentoring to engineering teams.\n  Communicate architecture, risks, recommendations, and technical solutions to senior customer stakeholders.\n\nCore Technical Expertise\n\nMicrosoft Identity Management (MIM) 2016\n\n  MIM 2016 Synchronization Service and MIM Service & Portal.\n  Management Agents including Active Directory MA, MIM MA, SQL MA, Oracle, Delimited Text, Generic SQL, ECMA/ECMA2.\n  Connector Space, Metaverse, disconnections, MV errors, synchronization troubleshooting, attribute flows, joins/projections, and provisioning code.\n  Classic and Scoping Filter Synchronization Rules.\n  Sets, MPRs, Transition MPRs, OOB Workflows, MIMWAL, and custom workflows.\n  RCDC, custom attributes/objects, and Portal customization.\n  Identity provisioning, de-provisioning, and lifecycle management.\n\nActive Directory & Hybrid Identity\n\n  Expert knowledge of Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) including objects, attributes, OU/OU structures, DN construction, permissions, and delegation.\n  Active Directory LDS architecture and administration.\n\nRequired Qualifications :-\n\n  10+ years of overall IT experience with significant experience in Microsoft Identity Management.\n  Strong hands-on and architectural experience with MIM 2016.\n  Proven experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale identity solutions.\n  Strong expertise in Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD Connect, and Hybrid Identity.\n  Experience with identity security technologies including PAM, PIM, AD FS, SSPR, and certificate management.\n  Strong customer-facing consulting and presentation skills.\n  Ability to lead complex technical engagements independently.\n  Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.\n  PowerShell/scripting and automation experience is preferred.\n\nWhy join Sonata Software\n\nAt Sonata, you´ll have an outstanding opportunity.
