The candidate should be capable of designing and leading complex SharePoint solutions across hybrid, cloud, and on-premises environments, while providing technical direction to engineering teams and engaging with senior customer stakeholders.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n Lead SharePoint architecture, solution design, modernization, migration, and technical strategy for enterprise customers. \n Design scalable and secure SharePoint Online and SharePoint On-Premises solutions. \n Conduct customer discovery sessions, architecture workshops, assessments, and design reviews. \n Lead SharePoint migration and modernization initiatives from legacy SharePoint environments to SharePoint Online. \n Define SharePoint information architecture, governance, security, permissions, content management, and site architecture. \n Provide technical leadership for complex SharePoint incidents, performance issues, and production challenges. \n Review existing SharePoint environments and identify opportunities for cloud adoption, modernization, optimization, and automation. \n Provide technical governance, best practices, standards, and mentoring to engineering teams. \n Work with Microsoft 365, Azure, Security, Identity, and other technology teams to deliver integrated solutions. \n Communicate architecture decisions, technical risks, recommendations, and roadmaps to senior customer stakeholders. \n\nRequired Qualifications\n\n 15+ years of overall IT experience with significant experience in SharePoint and Microsoft technologies. \n Strong hands-on and architectural experience with SharePoint Online and SharePoint On-Premises. \n Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale SharePoint solutions. \n Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, security, governance, search, content management, and integration. \n Proven experience with SharePoint migration and modernization. \n Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID. \n Experience with Power Platform and SharePoint customization is preferred. \n Strong customer-facing consulting and presentation skills. \n Ability to lead complex technical engagements independently. \n Excellent communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills. \n\nPreferred Skills\n\n SharePoint Framework (SPFx)\n PowerShell\n Microsoft Graph\n Power Platform\n Azure integration\n Microsoft Purview\n Microsoft Entra ID\n SharePoint Hybrid\n SharePoint migration tools\n SharePoint performance and health assessment\n Enterprise information architecture\n\nThe ideal candidate is a Principal-level SharePoint Architect / SME who combines deep expertise in SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server On-Premises with strong capabilities in architecture, migration, modernization, security, governance, Microsoft 365 integration, and customer advisory.
