Cooper Electric Supply, LLC we offer a supportive culture and great benefits, and as part of the larger Sonepar group, we can offer exciting opportunities to grow your career.\nWhat you will do:\nSecure business from existing and potential customers by means of visiting the customer’s facility.\nSecure opportunities on customer requirements by working with Cooper’s departments to develop a comprehensive bill of material.\nFollow up on all quotations submitted to customers, answer questions/concerns and Help close the order.\nEstablish professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, management and other key personnel).\nEstablish customer specific contracts.\nPerform all assigned duties in the assigned sales territory.\nSupport Sales Engineers in preparing solutions for customers.\nWhat you will bring:\nKnowledge of industrial electrical products and applications.\nKnowledge of Control and Automation products to include PLC’s, HMI’s and VFD’s.\nSkilled in selling products & services, negotiating sales, pricing and terms.\nAbility to effectively communicate information and present ideas and solutions to customers.\nOutgoing personality that works well with others.\nAbility to speak read and write proficiently in English.\nMaintains strong customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills.\nAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and possess strong work detail and organizational skills.\nMotivated, Self-Starter with a strong work ethic who can work independently.\nMust be fluent in Microsoft Office ©.\nPhysical Requirements and Work Environment\nMinimum travel, sitting in vehicle to customer’s place of business or job site, when required..\nRequires close vision with computer and paperwork, distant and peripheral vision for driving and product selection, and depth perception for safety in warehouse and building.\nRequires ability to clearly hear in-person and phone conversations.\nPrimarily light industrial and office work areas. Exposure to construction sites, hard hat and safety sensitive areas.
