We are now going to the market under one bold new brand, Echo Electric.\nThe Panel Technician & Assembler is responsible for the assembly and building of electrical and mechanical projects specified for customers, including but not limited to cutting, drilling, wiring, and installing various components of a project. This position works in close coordination with project engineers to assure desired project results and timelines are met.\nShift: Monday - Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm\n\nWe are looking for associates who:\nProject Scope & Planning\nReceives project assignments and instructions. \nRead, reviews, interprets and follows electrical drawings, schematics and layouts.\nAssists with estimating projects when required. \nFollows and meets project schedules and deadlines.\nProject Build & Testing\nReceive, identify, and sort components of a project.\nCompletes layout and fastens various components, on backplates or in enclosures using schematics and templates.\nCrates, skids, secures and wraps completed projects for shipment.\nDrills, taps cuts and prepares knockouts of metal and other materials. \nWires required components per schematics.\nRoute and bundle wiring, cables, etc. in a managed and neat manner. \nMark-ups as built schematics and layouts.\nCuts, strips, crimps, bends, labels, and terminates various wire sizes.\nCuts and installs various types of wire duct and din-rail. \nSupports and understands components for safe operation and installation including but not limited to VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, pushbuttons, switches, relays, starters, transformers, etc.\nOperates machinery, hand, and power tools in a safe and professional manner. \nAssists with testing and troubleshooting completed projects and connect required devices (sensors, motors, disconnects, power cables, etc.).\nWork safely with and around 480V, 120V, 24V, and pressurized systems, assuring appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is utilized. \nUnderstands NEC and UL508a regulations and standards. \nLearns and navigates AutoCAD when required. \nSecures wall-mount and free-standing enclosures, when needed and required. \nCustomer Service\nQuickly finds common ground and solves problems for the good of all.\nEasily gains trust and support of others.\nMaintains an accurate follow-up system for actively tracking promises, made to customers and expediting projects to assure that materials are completed and delivered as scheduled. \nProvides customer with appropriate product information to assure customer is quipped with the knowledge needed to make an informed purchase.\nResolve customer concerns.\nEncourages collaboration and is viewed as a team player.\nProduct Knowledge\nDevelops and maintains working knowledge of products utilized in project builds.\nAttends product training classes to develop superior product knowledge to apply to customer projects and applications, if and when required. \nCommunication & Team Orientation\nCommunicates well and respectfully with customers, engineers, fellow associates, management team and manufacturing partners to ensure a professional experience.\nDevelops an effective and productive working relationship with branch associates, sales associates and all managers.\nAptitude to organize, assemble and wiring skills\nDemonstrated motivation, willingness to learn and complete quality work. \nDesirable qualifications, NOT required:\n2 year of experience as a technician, assembler, or equivalent education from a technical school\nStrong understanding of standard electrical wiring practices/standards and control wiring principles.\nPrevious experience understanding and wiring motor control applications.\nMetal working, including but not limited to fabrication, welding, etc.\nPainting experience\nAbility to sit, stand, kneel, bend, crouch and walk for prolonged periods of time.\nAbility to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone.\nAbility to bend, climb, push, and pull, including the ability to maneuver to heights and in tight or small places.\nAbility to safely negotiate walking through construction sites while carrying or otherwise transporting work-related materials.\nAbility to lift, carry, and otherwise transport work-related
