This role leads talent, performance, and organizational effectiveness initiatives to build a high-performing, accountable culture while ensuring compliance and a strong employee experience.\nWhat you will do:\nStrategic Partnership: Align HR strategy with business goals, growth, and operational priorities; serve as a trusted advisor to leadership.\nPerformance & Accountability: Drive disciplined performance management with clear expectations, coaching, and no-surprises outcomes.\nTalent & Succession: Lead talent reviews, succession planning, and development of high-potential employees to build a strong pipeline.\nManager Enablement: Strengthen leadership capability through coaching, training, and practical guidance for people leaders.\nEmployee Relations & Compliance: Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.\nCompensation & Workforce Planning: Partner with leadership and finance on compensation strategy, headcount planning, and labor cost management.\nHR Operations & Analytics: Drive process improvement, ensure data integrity, and leverage workforce analytics to inform decisions while linking insights to business outcomes such as productivity, retention, and operational performance.\nHR Team Leadership: Lead and develop the HR team to deliver high-impact, business-focused Support\nWhat you will bring:\nBachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (advanced degree preferred).\n8+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles.\nExperience supporting a multi-location or matrixed organization.\nStrong business acumen with proven ability to influence senior leaders.\nStrong command of employment law and HR best practices, with specialized expertise in California compliance.\nHR Certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.\nStrong leadership bench and succession readiness\nClear, consistent performance management and accountability\nHigh employee engagement and improved retention\nEffective resolution of employee relations issues\nSuccessful execution of key business and HR initiatives.\nLocation: This role is based in Fullerton, CA, or Oceanside, CA, onsite with a hybrid option in the future\nWork hours: 8:00 am- 5:00 pm\nSalary Range:\nThis is an exempt position that pays $160,000-$180,000 annually. This salary range reflects figures for the primary location in California.
