It is an opportunity to influence real transformation decisions, simplify a complex global landscape and ensure that strategic technology investments deliver lasting business value.\nAs our Enterprise Architect - Applications, you will define the target application architecture and guide its implementation across ERP, commerce, supply chain, data, integration, digital workplace and AI-enabled capabilities.\nWorking closely with business leaders, regional IT organizations, Product and Engineering teams, and strategic technology partners, you will ensure that our enterprise applications are scalable, integrated, secure and aligned with Sonepar’s long-term strategy. Your mission will be to reduce complexity, strengthen architectural consistency and enable Sonepar’s global transformation through a modern, sustainable and business-driven application landscape\nKey Responsibilities\nShape the enterprise application landscape\nDefine and maintain Sonepar’s target enterprise application architecture. \nEstablish clear architecture principles, standards, reference models and technology roadmaps. \nDrive the modernization, simplification and rationalization of the global application portfolio. \nEnsure alignment across ERP, PIM, OMS, CPQ, WMS, TMS, CRM, Pricing, eCommerce, Digital Workplace, AI and other enterprise platforms. \nReduce duplication, technical debt and unnecessary complexity across the organization. \nDefine integration and interoperability principles in close collaboration with Integration and Data Architecture teams. \nEnable strategic transformation\nProvide architectural leadership for major business transformation programs and strategic initiatives. \nTranslate complex business needs into scalable, sustainable and future-ready enterprise solutions. \nAssess new technologies and solutions through RFPs, vendor evaluations and technology-selection processes. \nEnsure that new solutions fit within Sonepar’s target architecture and operating model. \nSupport application harmonization and M&A integration activities when required. \nStrenghten architecture Governance\nEstablish and operate effective architecture governance across global and regional initiatives. \nReview solution architectures and ensure alignment with enterprise standards. \nPromote consistency, standardization and reuse across countries, platforms and business functions. \nEnsure that architecture decisions address security, compliance, data governance and operational requirements. \nDefine and monitor architecture KPIs and technical health indicators.\nInfluence and connect the organization\nBuild strong partnerships with business stakeholders and IT leaders across countries and functions. \nCollaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Infrastructure, Security and Data teams. \nInfluence senior stakeholders and provide trusted guidance on strategic technology decisions. \nMentor Solution Architects and contribute to the development of Sonepar’s enterprise architecture community. \nChampion modern architecture practices, innovation and continuous improvement. \nWhat success looks like\nIn this role, you will help us:\nCreate a clear and actionable target application architecture.\n\nSimplify and modernize Sonepar’s global application landscape.\n\nReduce technical debt, duplication and unnecessary complexity.\n\nImprove integration and interoperability across enterprise platforms.\n\nAccelerate strategic transformation programs through better architecture decisions.\n\nStrengthen architecture governance across global and regional initiatives.\n\nBuild a connected and influential enterprise architecture community.\n\nWhat you will bring\nAt least 10 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture or large-scale Application Architecture. \nStrong experience in complex enterprise environments and global transformation programs. \nDeep knowledge of enterprise applications and end-to-end business processes. \nExperience across areas such as ERP, Supply Chain, Commerce, Pricing, Product Information Management, Integration and Data Platforms. \nStrong knowledge of modern architecture patterns, including API-led, event-driven, cloud-native, SaaS and microservices architectures. \nExperience with integration platforms, middleware technologies, application lifecycle management and technology standardization. \nThe ability to navigate multinational and matrix organizations and influence stakeholders at senior level. \nFluency in English \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in B2B distribution, retail, industrial, manufacturing, or supply chain-intensive industries.\nFamiliarity with modern commerce and omnichannel ecosystems.\nExperience with AI-enabled business capabilities and digital transformation initiatives.\nKnowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.\nExperience with major enterprise platforms such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Adobe, ServiceNow, or similar ecosystems.\nWork Mode & Location\n- Hybrid: 3 days in Paris (8ème) after the probation period\nBenefits that await you:\nThe role - Your daily activities will be interesting, stimulating and varied...
