In 2020, together with Cable Solutions (Thailand), a specialized distributor of cables for residential, commercial and industrial projects, these three companies decided to combine forces and operate as one, Underthe brand Sonepar Thailand.\nTo explore and learn more about Sonepar Thailand, please visit www.soneparthailand.com\nKey Responsibilities\nPrepare and record general ledger transactions, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, provisions, allocations and adjustments.\nSupport monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.\nPerform GL account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and resolve outstanding balances.Manage and reconcile supplier rebates, customer rebates, marketing income and related expenses.\nPrepare and analyze inventory provisions, inventory valuation and trading cost variances.\nMonitor project costs, work in progress (WIP), accruals and project profitability against approved budgets.\nMaintain fixed asset registers, including acquisitions, depreciation, transfers and disposals.\nReview financial data, analyze P&L and balance sheet movements, and provide supporting reports.\nEnsure compliance with IFRS, TFRS, Thai accounting regulations and internal control policies.\nCoordinate with cross-functional teams and support internal/external audits and accounting process improvements.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Accounting; Thai CPD qualification is preferred.\n4-7 years of relevant accounting experience, particularly in GL accounting, month-end closing, account reconciliations, inventory/cost accounting and fixed assets.\nStrong knowledge of IFRS, TFRS and Thai statutory accounting and tax requirements.\nExperience in trading, distribution or multinational companies is strongly preferred.\nExperience in supplier/customer rebates, inventory provisions, marketing funds or project cost accounting is an advantage.\nProficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and analytical functions.\nExperience with Microsoft Dynamics AX, D365 Finance or other major ERP systems.\nGood command of spoken and written English.\nKey Competencies\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy.\nGood understanding of accounting standards and internal controls.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\nProactive, responsible and able to work independently.\nEffective communication and cross-functional collaboration.\nHigh integrity and ability to handle confidential financial information.has context menu\nWe are interested in knowing more about you!
