Inventory Management & Replenishment

  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, auditing, replenishment, transaction discipline, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Monitor inventory levels and complete replenishment activities based on customer demand and established service requirements.
  • Identify stockouts, excess inventory, slow-moving items, and inaccurate records, then coordinate corrective action.
  • Support min/max reviews, item rationalization, inventory optimization, and continuous improvement activities.

Storeroom, Onsite & Site Services Operations

  • Support onsite inventory, storeroom, consignment, and other material management programs.
  • Receive, inspect, stock, label, organize, issue, stage, kit, and process returns in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain clean, safe, organized, and efficient customer and Crawford-managed inventory areas.
  • Coordinate material deliveries, job site requests, staging activities, and customer service requirements.

Technology, Reporting & Program Discipline

  • Use inventory systems, handheld scanners, mobile devices, customer portals, dashboards, and reporting tools accurately and consistently.
  • Maintain complete inventory records, replenishment of data, service documentation, and program files.
  • Support KPI reporting and customer scorecards for inventory accuracy, fill rate, stockouts, productivity, and service performance.
  • Escalate recurring issues, risks, and improvement opportunities to the Material Solutions Manager and appropriate partners.

Safety, Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Follow Crawford and customer safety requirements, standard operating procedures, and personal protective equipment expectations.
  • Partner with Branch Operations, Customer Service, Sales, Supply Chain, and Digital Solutions to resolve issues and improve execution.
  • Participate in site reviews, training, audits, program launches, and process improvement activities.
  • Demonstrate accountability, adaptability, respect, and dependable follow-through in customer and team interactions.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and respond effectively in a field-based environment.
  • Working knowledge of inventory practices, material handling, receiving, stocking, and replenishment.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn ERP, inventory, scanning, reporting, and customer technology platforms.
  • Valid driver license and ability to meet applicable company travel requirements.

Preferred

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics, operations, or related field.

  • Lean, continuous improvement, safety, or inventory management training.

Environment

This position is field-based, with work performed at customer locations, job sites, warehouses, and other assigned locations. Regular local travel between sites is required, with occasional overnight travel. The role involves a combination of driving, walking, standing, and hands-on material handling, with work conducted in both indoor and outdoor environments depending on location.
