This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys developing people, improving processes, solving problems, and creating a safe, efficient operation that delivers a great customer experience.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAs an Operations Manager, you’ll oversee key areas of the location’s operations, including:\nLead, develop, and support operations associates and leaders\nManage daily productivity, workflow, staffing, inventory, fleet, and customer service\nPromote a strong safety culture and ensure policies and procedures are followed\nOversee receiving, shipping, project material management, delivery, counter sales, inventory, facilities, and assets\nPartner with Sales, Human Resources, and Corporate Supply Chain to provide consistent and responsive customer service\nDrive continuous improvement in service, business processes, inventory control, and loss control\nMonitor operational KPIs and manage operating expenses within established budgets\nOversee the facility, grounds, fleet, and operational assets in collaboration with corporate resources \nWhat We’re Looking For\nRequired experience:\n4+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or a distribution environment\n2+ years of supervisory experience\nHigh school diploma or GED\nKnowledge of, or ability to learn and enforce, DOT rules and regulations\nKnowledge of distribution and warehouse processes, equipment, and procedures\nStrong organizational, analytical, critical-thinking, and customer-service skills\nAbility to lead, coach, motivate, and develop a team\nAbility to work effectively across departments\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office applications \nAdditional Requirements\nValid driver’s license\nAbility to lift up to 75 lbs.\nAbility to work in both office and operations environments\nModerate travel\nRole may involve operating powered industrial equipment and physical activities including lifting, bending, twisting, climbing, crouching, and squatting \nWhy This Role?\nThis position gives you the opportunity to make an impact across the entire operation, from people leadership and safety to inventory, customer service, fleet, facilities, and operational performance.
