At OneSource, we offer a supportive culture and great benefits, and as part of the larger Sonepar group, we can provide exciting opportunities to grow your career.\nWhat you will do:\nLoad, unload, and move materials from storage to staging sites and/or designated areas per each sales ticket.\nUse work orders and verbal instructions to assemble materials and containers which need to be picked, moved, or staged.\nCollect and pick all materials included customer orders using the pick ticket.\nPackage merchandise for shipment to ensure maximum efficiency and reduce damage during the shipping process.\nProperly wrap, label, and mark material for easy identification and loading.\nUse Eclipse to confirm picking and staging of materials, ensuring proper piece count for drivers and customers.\nLoad materials onto vehicles and properly secure cargo.\nUnload incoming vehicles, prepare necessary receiving documents, and receive the materials.\nDocument shipments and changes in inventory using Eclipse.\nClean work areas, machines, and equipment on a routine basis.\nSafely operate all the necessary equipment in the work area. Operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.\nCount, weigh or measure incoming or outgoing items to compare identifying information and variety against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records; examine incoming shipments for damage or shortages and correspond with purchasing.\nPerform regular counting of inventory, including running off wire and inspecting items for damage.\nCommunicate when supply inventory levels are low.\nOther duties, as assigned.\nWhat you will bring:\nKnowledge of automated or computerized system operation.\nHigh School diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D), or 2-4 years of related warehouse experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nData-entry, reporting, and recordkeeping skills.\nKnowledge of safety practices, and wears PPE as assigned.\nAbility to operate hand tools including wire cutting equipment.\nAbility to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment. Must be Forklift Operation Certified after hire.\nKnowledge of cargo securement techniques, chains, binders, straps, ropes, knots, plastic wrap, and cargo dunnage used.\nStrong mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, including fractions and decimals.\nMust be able to read and interpret invoices and packing slips.\nStrong communication skills. Able to present information to management, customers, vendors, employees, and the public.\nProblem-solving skills including collecting and presenting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions to solve practical problems where only limited information and standardization exists.\nPhysical Requirements and Work Environment:\nWarehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.\nRequires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.\nUse of PPE as required.\nMix of warehouse and office work environments\nWork with Shrink Wrap machine\nLift 50 pounds\nWork outdoors/indoors\nLocation: This role is based in San Leandro, CA\nWork hours: 8:00 PM - 4:30 AM\nSalary Range:\nThis is a non-exempt position and pays between $20.00 - $22.00 per hour. This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, within California.
