The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Quotation Coordinator and Sales Team during the quotations process and for the successful management of all orders generated by the quotations team.\nShift: Monday- Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.\nWe’re looking for a coordinator who:\nCommunicates with customers and supplies to gather information and pricing for job bids.\nInteract with customers via phone to sell products and services, to assist customers in their selections, and to provide priced and availability information.\nMaintain an accurate follow-up system for actively tracking promises made to customers and expediting deliveries to ensure that materials are delivered as scheduled.\nMaintain current knowledge of inventory, including appropriate substitutions.\nDevelop and maintain appropriate manufacturer contacts.\nExchange customer needs information in a timely fashion with Outside and Inside Sales Associates, Quotations Coordinator, Branch Manager, and Corporate Purchasing personnel.\nDevelops product knowledge and understands product applications.\nEnter quotations into computer system and forward completed documents to customers.\nEnter, track , bill, and expedite direct and stock customer orders, backorders, and vendor purchase orders.\nMaintains responsibility for all aspects of job order management, including, but not limited to RGAs, defectives, direct invoicing/billing, customer complaints, expediting, and reconciliation of project.\nProcesses direct material return information and requests vendor returns.\nEnter credit generated by vendor pricing adjustments, shipping adjustments, etc.\nProcesses customer repair requests.\nMonitor job queues and take appropriate action to troubleshoot and resolve items.\nPrepare small quotes for customer projects and documents appropriately.\nConduct customer follow-up on all quotations in an attempt to secure the order.\nAnswer and manage incoming phone calls, including checking and responding to voice messages.\nMonitor and respond to electronic messaging (Outlook & operating system) in an appropriate and timely manner.\nUse appropriate forms of written communication both internally & externally.\nMaintain working knowledge of required software applications and utilize software for appropriate means of communication.\nQuickly finds common ground and solves problems for the good of all.\nEasily gain trust and support from others.\nMaintain an accurate follow-up system for actively tracking promises made to customers and expediting deliveries to ensure materials are delivered as scheduled.\nProvide customers with appropriate product and substation information to ensure customer is equipped with the knowledge needed to make an informed purchase.\nResolve customer concerns.\nEncourage collaboration and is viewed as a team player.\nDevelop product knowledge and understand product applications.\nMaintain current knowledge of products inventoried, including appropriate product substitutions.\nDevelop and maintain appropriate manufacturer contacts.\nNegotiate special pricing contracts and accurate documents.\nExchanges customer needs information in a timely fashion with Outside and Inside Sales Associates, Office Manager, Quotations Manager, Branch Manager and Corporate Purchasing staff.\nSupports other branches in their efforts to secure and facilitate customer orders.\nAttend product sales meetings to develop product knowledge.\nPerforms other duties as instructed or required to successfully complete job.\nWhat you bring:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent, with secondary or post-secondary coursework concentrated on sales/marketing, or equivalent on the job experience as determined by Echo Electric.\nAt least two (2) years of electrical or distribution experience and/or product and application knowledge.\nCommitment to and demonstration of high ethical standards governing profession behavior and interactions.\nStrong customer service orientation.\nStrong mathematical and analytical skills.\nDemonstrated ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal formats.\nDemonstrated time management and organizational skills, including an ability to plan and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.\nProven attentiveness to detail coupled with problem analysis and resolution skills.\nProven proficiency in date entry and 10-key pad.\nProven proficiency in general personal compute applications, as well as in the use of Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel.\nAbility to work well in a team environment. \nPrevious Counter or Inside Sales work experience preferred.\nWillingness to complete EDGE or EPEC within 18 month of starting job assignment.\nAbility to sit for prolonged periods of time.\nAbility to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, adding machine, and telephone for prolonged periods of time.\nAbility to occasionally climb a ladder and step stool.\nAbility to lift,
