For the past 30 years, Crawford has built a culture of growth, opportunity, innovative thinking, and stability for its employees by truly living up to the company motto of, “Whatever it Takes!” through our mindset competencies below:\n\nAdapt: Effectively embrace new situation and people\n\nDare: Appropriately challenge the status quo\n\nLearn: Learn from others, from mistakes, and self-improve\n\nResponsibilities\n\nThe Regional Operations Manager reports to the Regional Vice President and provides regional-level oversight into all queues, reports, etc. In addition, they will have general responsibility over the following”\nLead initiatives assigned by the RVP\nProperty and building management\nMaintain Asset Management and Tracking in the assigned area\nSupport Branch Managers and Warehouse Leaders in training, coaching, and team development\nCoordinate and lead area-wide operational training sessions\nDelegation of Authority\nServe as the primary liaison between sales and operations across all branches in the assigned area\nDrive consistent execution of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management standards\nLead initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity, and service levels across locations\nEnsure effective order flow and backlog management to meet customer expectations\nDeliver clear, actionable insights to Area Sales Leaders and Regional Vice Presidents.\nTranslate complex data into concise, executive-ready summaries.\nMonitor and manage inter-branch transfers and RDC logistics coordination\nReview inventory adjustments, discrepancies, and root cause trends across branches\nReview Job Management/PLS Transactions to ensure project close-out, including financial billings and material disposition\nReview and manage overhead expenses and cost controls across the area\nAnalyze operational performance, budgets, and forecasts to drive accountability\nSupport resolution of customer and vendor invoice disputes (AP/AR issues)\nEnsure proper handling of returns, credits, and financial accuracy\nEvaluate branch performance using data, reporting tools (Power BI), and KPIs\nIdentify operational gaps and implement corrective action plans\nDrive adoption of standard processes and continuous improvement initiatives\nPromote a sales-driven operations mindset focused on customer responsiveness\nReinforce Crawford’s mindset competencies: Adapt, Dare, Learn\nPromote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and execution\nOversee facility maintenance and operational readiness across locations\nCoordinate building contracts, vendor relationships, and upkeep standards\nEnsure safe, organized, and efficient working environments\n\nQualifications\n\nComputer literate.\nProficiency with Solar/Eclipse ERP software\nProficiency with Microsoft Power Bi\nProficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)\nGood writing, analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to communicate effectively.\nKnowledge of principles and practices of organization, planning, records management, and general administration.\nBasic understanding of general HR policies and procedures.\nAbility to follow oral and written instructions.\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nMinimum five years’ clerical or administrative experience in the electrical distribution industry\n\nEnvironment\n\nNote: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
