At OneSource, we offer a supportive culture and great benefits, and as part of the larger Sonepar group, we can provide exciting opportunities to grow your career.\nWhat you will do:\nThe Solar Order Picker/Specialist is responsible for accurate picking of materials to support our solar energy orders.\nThis role is responsible for picking and assembling customer orders via and RF environment.\nOperate proper equipment to retrieve items from high shelves and storage areas. Equipment may vary based on product.\nProcessing of order instructions correctly and accurately. Inspection of product for damage; report as needed\nSafely handle fragile and high-value components such as photovoltaic panels, inverters and energy storage.\nErgonomically transfer product boxes from racks to pallets\nFollow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures\nMaintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.\nCollaborate with warehouse supervisors to manage inventory levels and assist in warehouse management systems.\nExperience working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.\nConduct pre-trip inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.\nFrequent lifting (up to 50-75 lbs.) safely and consistently throughout the day.\nWhat you will bring:\n3+ years of warehouse experience in solar, renewable products.\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\nAbility to think critically in a fast-paced environment.\nHigh attention to detail. \nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nTeam player with a collaborative mindset.\nKnowledge of alternative energy or solar industry is preferred.\nForklift certification required.\nPhysical Requirements and Work Environment:\nWarehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.\nRequires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.\nUse of PPE as required.\nMix of warehouse and office work environments\nLocation: This role is on-site in the San Leandro, CA branch\nWork hours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM\nSalary Range:\nThis is a non-exempt position that pays $22.00 - $27.00 an hour. This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, within California.
