Cooper Electric Supply, LLC we offer a supportive culture and great benefits, and as part of the larger Sonepar group, we can offer exciting opportunities to grow your career.\nWhat you will do:\nSchedule and dispatch qualified field technicians for generator startups, commissioning, testing, and related service work.\nConfirm jobsite readiness before scheduling, including equipment installation, electrical connections, fuel supply, batteries, and safe site access.\nReview work orders, project scope, equipment specifications, startup checklists, and manufacturer requirements for completeness and accuracy.\nCoordinate startup dates and site requirements with customers, contractors, project managers, and field service technicians.\nEnsure technicians receive complete job packages, including site contacts, model and serial numbers, and special instructions.\nTrack parts, tools, testing equipment, and other materials required for each assignment; escalate shortages or scheduling risks promptly.\nMonitor daily field activity, adjust schedules as priorities change, and communicate delays or conflicts to affected parties.\nWhat you will bring:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training in electrical, mechanical, power-generation, or business operations preferred.\nTwo or more years of experience in service coordination, dispatch, project coordination, power generation, or preferred related field.\nKnowledge of standby generators, automatic transfer switches, electrical systems, fuel systems, and startup or commissioning processes preferred.\nExperience using service-management, dispatch, customer relationship management, or enterprise resource planning software.\nProficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.\nAbility to read work orders, equipment schedules, and technical documents.\nAbility to work in a fast paced environment\nPhysical Requirements and Work Environment\nThe ability to sit for much of the assigned shift while using phones, and computers.\nThis job is preformed primarily in office environments. \nLocation - Ocean, NJ\nSchedule - Monday - Friday,\nRange - This is a non-exempt (hourly) position with a pay range of $21/hr - $25/hr.
