This role is responsible for processing cable orders, cutting cable to precise specifications, and ensuring product quality and inventory accuracy.\nPlease note the shift time is 2:30pm-10:30pm\nKey Responsibilities:\nProcess and cut cable orders according to picking ticket instructions.\nOperate cable cutting machines, including reeling and coiling equipment.\nLoad reels onto payout spindles and thread cable through take-up spindles.\nAdjust machine settings to ensure accurate cable lengths.\nMonitor machine operations and identify malfunctions or defects.\nInspect cable for quality and remove defective sections.\nRecord measurements and production data accurately.\nRewind and transfer cable from large to small reels for stock maintenance.\nTrack and monitor inventory in accordance with company procedures.\nComplete all required paperwork and verify order accuracy.\nPerform routine maintenance and safety checks on machines and tools.\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nSkills & Qualifications:\nMinimum 2+ years of experience in warehouse, production, or general labor roles (Asset).\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.\nCertifications in First Aid, WHMIS, or Forklift Operation are preferred.\nBasic to intermediate computer skills, including MS Office.\nAbility to perform basic mathematical calculations for measurements and inventory.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.\nCapable of reading and writing routine reports or job orders.\nPhysically fit and able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods\nBenefits & Perks\nWe offer a competitive salary, plus a full set of benefits, including:\nFlexible benefits program allowing you to choose from options that best fit you and your dependents’ needs.
