Within World Electric we offer a supportive culture and great benefits, and as part of the larger Sonepar group, we can offer exciting opportunities to grow your career.\nWe are hiring a Warehouse Associate to join our team!\nJob Type: Full Time\nSchedule: 2:30PM - 11:30PM\nWhat You’ll Do\nYou will:\nReceiving\n\nReads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, packing slips, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.\n\nMarks materials with identifying information.\n\nOpens bales, crates, and other containers.\n\nVerifies and records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.\n\nDrives equipment to transport items within the warehouse.\n\nUses computer to enter records.\n\nCompiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.\n\nPut away\n\nSorts and places material or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, style, or product code.\n\nSorts and stores stocked goods in warehouse.\n\nMarks materials with identifying information.\n\nWeighs or counts items for distribution within warehouse to ensure conformance to company standards.\n\nPicking\n\nFills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to customers and sales.\n\nAssembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.\n\nCompiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.\n\nPacking\n\nReads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.\n\nVerifies the product that has been picked and documents discrepancies on an error log and has correct product re-picked.\n\nConfirm tickets.\n\nUses computer to enter records.\n\nLoading\n\nConsolidates freight for shipping.\n\nLoads trucks for delivery to customers.\n\nRouting\n\nFacilitates and distributes shipping tickets\n\nVerifies shipping method\n\nManages delayed release tickets\n\nCommunicates oversize loads to freight carriers\n\nInspects and maintains printing equipment\n\nEnsures shipping routes are maintained\n\nInventory Control\n\nMonitor and maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system.\n\nConduct regular cycle counts and reconcile variances promptly.\n\nInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, reporting findings to\nmanagement.\n\nPipe Yard\n\nReceive pipe and conduit\n\nPrepare pipe and conduit bundles for shipping orders\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\nEducation and/or Experience:\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED);
