This includes managing the team responsible for receiving vendor products, unloading shipments, and inspecting incoming materials to verify quality and quantity. The supervisor also ensures accurate put-away of products into designated locations. They are responsible for investigating and resolving product or process discrepancies to maintain a smooth, streamlined flow of materials entering the warehouse. The role also includes assigned housekeeping duties and any additional tasks delegated by the Warehouse Manager.\nMajor Responsibilities\nLead continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives within receiving\nTroubleshoot purchasing, supplier, delayed shipment, and urgent PO issues.\nManage, track, and receive inbound shipments; inspect for accuracy, quality, and quantity.\nDocument quality issues, discrepancies, and internal error reports; communicate to Purchasing and cross-functional teams.\nCoordinate with Warehouse, Inventory, and Expediting teams to resolve product and PO issues promptly.\nScan shipments and transfers; maintain accurate receiving logs and audit-compliant documentation.\nComplete and submit receiving paperwork accurately and on time, and maintain reports, forms, and inventory of warehouse supplies.\nAct as the primary contact for inbound requests and manage delivery appointments.\nOversee loading/unloading, dock preparation, offloading coordination, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.\nEnforce all health, safety, and regulatory requirements; promote a strong safety culture.\nEnsure proper PPE use and safe, certified operation of material handling equipment (MHE).\nConduct routine safety inspections; identify hazards and implement corrective actions.\nCoordinate delivery flow: direct drivers, assign docks/staging, verify trailer securement, and communicate site rules.\nMonitor yard and dock activity to ensure safe, efficient movement and maintain clear aisles, exits, and access points.\nAny other tasks assigned by Management.\nSkills and Qualifications\nMinimum 3-5 years warehouse experience\nMHE license and experience 3-5 years\nComfortable using ERP (Epicor Eclipse experience would be an asset) \nComfortable using Microsoft Apps (Outlook, Excel, Word)\nComfortable lifting up to 50 Lbs and able to bend, crouch, and kneel for long periods of time\nExcellent communication, organization, multitasking & prioritization skills\nBenefits & Perks\nWe offer a competitive salary, plus a full set of benefits, including:\nFlexible benefits program allowing you to choose from options that best fit you and your dependents’ needs.
