The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle database administration, EBS application support, and performance tuning, along with familiarity in tools like SharePlex and Hyperion. This role is critical to supporting financial closure cycles and ensuring database reliability and performance.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAdminister and maintain Oracle EBS R12.1.3 environments, including patching, cloning, backups, and upgrades.\nLead and support the upgrade path to Oracle EBS 12.2 or migration to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).\nSupport month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closure activities, ensuring system stability and performance.\nPerform database cloning for development, testing, and troubleshooting purposes.\nTroubleshoot and optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code for performance and reliability.\nMonitor and optimize database performance, availability, and scalability.\nManage concurrent managers, workflow services, and EBS application components.\nImplement and maintain database security, backup/recovery strategies, and disaster recovery plans.\nCollaborate with application teams to support schema changes and deployments.\nAutomate routine DBA tasks using shell scripting or other tools.\nMaintain documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures.\nProvide on-call support and participate in scheduled maintenance windows.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.\n8-10 years of experience as an Oracle DBA, with at least 5 years supporting Oracle EBS R12.\nStrong knowledge of Oracle 12c/19c database architecture and administration.\nExperience with Oracle EBS modules such as Financials, SCM, and HRMS.\nProficiency in RMAN, Data Guard, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).\nExpertise in Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.\nFamiliarity with Oracle WebLogic Server and Oracle Applications Framework.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and documentation abilities.\nNice to Have:\nExperience with SharePlex for replication and high availability.\nExposure to Hyperion for financial planning and analysis.\nBasic skills in OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition) for reporting and data analysis.\nOracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification.\nExperience with Oracle RAC and ASM.\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure) and migration strategies.\nKnowledge of SOA Suite or other Oracle middleware technologies.\nWork Environment\nMay require on-call support and weekend maintenance windows.\nCollaborative, fast-paced, and growth-oriented team culture.\nSonicWall is an equal opportunity employer. \nWe are committed to creating a diverse environment and are an equal opportunity employer.
