The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in test planning, execution, automation, and troubleshooting across networking and cybersecurity technologies.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop a strong understanding of network security technologies, product offerings, test workflows, and existing test infrastructure.\nCreate comprehensive test plans, design and execute test cases, and manage defects throughout the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).\nDesign, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for functional and system testing.\nExecute automated and manual test suites, analyze results, and drive defect resolution through closure.\nIdentify opportunities to improve test efficiency, coverage, and productivity through automation and process enhancements.\nEvaluate and adopt new testing tools, technologies, and best practices to improve product quality.\nCollaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed engineering teams.\nRequired Qualifications\n3-4 years of experience in software testing and test automation within the networking or cybersecurity domain.\nStrong scripting/programming skills in one or more languages such as Python, Tcl, Perl, Ruby, or Selenium-based automation frameworks.\nSolid understanding of networking and security technologies, including L2/L3/L4/L7 protocols, VPN, IAM, NAC, EDR/MDR, and related security solutions.\nExperience with software development and testing methodologies, including SDLC and STLC.\nKnowledge of object-oriented programming concepts, design principles, and test automation frameworks.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and debugging skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.\nExperience working with global or geographically distributed teams is a plus.\n#Pune #Networking #firewall\nSonicWall is an equal opportunity employer. \nWe are committed to creating a diverse environment and are an equal opportunity employer.
