This position leads by example in promoting a strong safety culture, fostering teamwork, and developing employees to achieve their full potential. The supervisor works closely with production teams to ensure a collaborative workplace where safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement are shared responsibilities. Through effective communication, coaching, and leadership, the Production Supervisor ensures employees have the training, resources, and support needed to safely meet customer expectations while achieving operational goals. This role is responsible for building a culture of trust, respect, and teamwork that drives both employee success and plant performance.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nPromote and enforce all company safety policies and procedures.\nEnsure compliance with OSHA regulations and plant safety requirements.\nConduct safety observations, audits, and investigations of accidents, incidents, and near misses.\nLead daily safety discussions and maintain a safe and organized work environment.\nEnsure employees receive proper training on equipment and safe work practices.\nPrepare and submit incident and accident reports as required.\nLead, coach, and develop production employees in a team-oriented environment.·\nFoster a culture of accountability, respect, communication, and collaboration.\nConduct training, cross-training, and skill development activities.\nManage employee performance, attendance, and disciplinary actions when necessary.\nAssist with hiring, onboarding, employee development, and succession planning.\nPromote employee engagement and maintain positive morale throughout the operation.\nDirect daily production activities to meet customer requirements and production schedules.\nCoordinate labor resources to maximize productivity and operational efficiency.\nMonitor production performance and equipment effectiveness.\nPartner with maintenance to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.\nCommunicate production priorities, expectations, and performance results to employees.\nEnsure accurate completion of production, downtime, and labor reports.\nEnsure all partition products meet customer specifications and company quality standards.\nPromote employee ownership of quality requirements and workmanship.\nMonitor production processes to reduce scrap, rework, and material waste.\nInvestigate quality concerns and implement corrective actions.\nSupport continuous improvement efforts to improve product quality and operational performance.\nSupport Lean Manufacturing, SPS, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nIdentify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.\nLead waste reduction and process improvement activities.\nParticipate in capital projects and operational improvement efforts.\nMaintain accurate production, labor, quality, and safety records.\nMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate results to plant leadership.\nAssist with budget management and cost control efforts.\nRequisition materials and supplies essential for operations.\nEnsure compliance with company policies and plant security requirements.\nThis position is located at our Stockton, CA Facility.\nWe’d love to hear from you if:\nHigh School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.\nMinimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in paper converting, corrugated manufacturing, or protective packaging operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.\nDemonstrated knowledge of corrugated partitions, die cutting, assembly, finishing, and material flow processes preferred.\nStrong understanding of manufacturing operations, safety systems, quality standards, and production planning.\nProven ability to lead, coach, and develop employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nStrong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications and manufacturing reporting systems.\nStrong commitment to safety leadership and employee engagement.\nAbility to build and maintain effective teams.\nLeadership, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.\nProduction planning and execution.\nRoot cause analysis and problem solving.\nContinuous improvement methodologies.\nQuality systems and process control.\nLabor management and workforce scheduling.\nEffective verbal and written communication.\nAbility to walk throughout the production facility for extended periods.\nAbility to stand, bend, reach, and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.\nAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, moving equipment, and varying temperatures.\nAbility to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).\nCompensation: \nThe annual base salary range for this role is from $93,600 to
