The Process Operator Indirect will be responsible for implementation of all Safety, Health and Environmental programs for the facility. The ideal candidate will be part of the facility leadership team tasked with developing and implementing strategies to continually improve Safety, Health and Environmental performance.\nWhat you will be doing:\nReporing out safety concerns at start up meeting and MS TEAMS meeting with leadership team\nRecording & addressing safety concerns/actions in Intelex Database\ncoordinate and complete R3s monthly\nperform storm water sampling for Dept of Ecology as needed\nmanage PPE/First Aid inventory\nperform safety audits\norder safety supplies\ncross-functional collaboration with safety coordinator peers within the West-Midwest region and/or any other safety related tasks as assigned.\nWe'd love to hear from you if:\n5 years of safety experience\nDemonstrate functional/technical knowledge on OSHA regulations safety processes and procedures such as injury/illness recordkeeping, confined space entry, LOTO, and other safety work practices.\nStrong communication skills\nDemonstrated oral/written communication skills: presents information and ideas to individuals or groups in an articulate and organized way, appropriate to the audience, and under a wide range of communication situations.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with independence.\nStrong problem analysis, judgment, and decision-making skills.\nStrong documentation and reporting skills.\nPresentation and training skills required.\nAbility to maintain a flexible attitude and meet the needs for changing priorities.\nAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing\nAbility to work as part of a team\nMust be proficient in: Microsoft office; Word, PowerPoint and Excel\nPosition requires an ability to communicate through verbal and written methods to all employees and to community and government agency representatives.
