We're extremely proud of our portfolio of brands, our achievements in sustainability and industrialization and the groundbreaking work accomplished by our people.\nThe successful candidate, with direction from the Plant Manager, is accountable for safety, quality, productivity, material handling, cost performance, and employee relations for assigned shift and department.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nEnsure the safety of all employees; lead safety teams and programs on assigned shift to prevent injuries. Comply with all federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations (EPA, OSHA, etc.).\nSupervise all production activities for assigned shift of approximately 60 team members. Schedule shift employees. Crew machines to cover vacations, absence, and overtime.\nEnsure all production documentation is filled out correctly and in a timely basis.\nMeet or exceed productivity, cost or other performance metric expectations for assigned shift. Implement and maintain best manufacturing practices.\nTrain, direct and mentor shift employees with diverse language, cultural and educational background.\nExecute production schedule on shift to meet customer demands, to manage overtime, to minimize inventory, and to reduce costs.\nSupport quality initiatives to ensure product meets or exceeds customer expectations. Ensure employees complete required quality checks and audits.\nBuild and maintain productive employee relationships, driving employee satisfaction.Provide direction, training, and development as needed.\nProvide coaching, counseling, or discipline as needed.\nRecommend disciplinary action to department manager.\n\nPrepare required shift documentation: production reports, quality reports,
