There is no relocation or housing assistance for this position.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nBe immersed in a fast-paced, collaborative, and highly cross-functional team environment\nGain an understanding of the Audio Engineering role within a Sound Experience company\nLearn how to transform unrefined, interdependent requirements into highly optimized solutions, covering test plan development, prototyping, design reviews, validation, and manufacturing.\nDesign and develop components, assemblies, and fixtures to support testing and measurement of loudspeakers, microphones and acoustic assemblies.\nDevelop your skills in audio measurement, signal processing and analysis.\nSKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES\nBasic Qualifications\nCurrently enrolled in a BS/BA or AA in Engineering program\nFundamental interest in and curiosity of all things audio, how smart speaker products are designed, tested and manufactured!\nDemonstrated ability to execute development tasks independently with a “can-do” attitude.\nAbility to collect and present technical data, both written and verbally, to a wide audience. \nOpen and willing to initiate peer review of one’s work.\nAbility to work in a highly diverse, cross functional team.\nSufficiently trustworthy to work in a high security, highly confidential laboratory.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAn interest in audio, acoustics, speaker building, sound reproduction or music production.\nStrong skills in physics, waves and oscillations.\nHands-on 3D printing, machining and/or fabrication skills.\nExperience with circuit modelling in P-SPICE, VituixCAD or similar program.\nPROGRAM QUALIFICATIONS\nCurrently enrolled in a College or University with a preferred field of study in Audio or Acoustical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering\nAvailable to participate in our full-time co-op program from January - June 2027\nAbility to work out of our Boston office a minimum 4 days per week\nApplicants must be authorized to work for any US employer, both now and in the future.
