As part of the Sonos team, you’ll collaborate with people of all styles, skill sets, and backgrounds to realize our vision while fostering a community where everyone feels included and empowered to do the best work of their lives.\nA Regional Trainer is responsible for bringing educational moments to life across EMEA to our partners in the Retail and AV channels. This role will be focused on the DACH region and will cover Germany, Switzerland and Austria. The ideal candidate for this role will have a deep understanding of consumer electronics, have experience in developing and delivering training programmes across the region, and have a passion for communicating stories to a variety of audiences. Members of the Sonos Global Training & Education Team embody all of Sonos’ behaviors, Respect, Collaboration, Transparency, and Ownership.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nPresent engaging educational content verbally to both small and large audiences in a variety of formats. These formats include in-person events and meetings, live and pre-recorded webinars, on-camera video training, live trade show events, and LMS platform management.\nSpeak the operating languages of the audiences we connect with: retail consumer electronics, installed services, AV experts, and retail corporate management.\nNavigate and deploy different communications styles dependent on the audience.\nWork in a fast paced, ever changing environment that requires flexibility and compassion for both partners and internal teams.\nCollaborate remotely and in-person to innovate how the Sonos Global Training & Education Team connects with our audiences to make our training activities the most enjoyable and fulfilling educational experiences in the industry.\nWork closely with sales and content teams to not only use education as a way of driving sales and advocacy, but to identify opportunities for training material to help sell and spec Sonos products.\nCollaborate with in-field sales & advocacy teams to ensure consistency of educational experiences across the region\nCommunicate with our partners outside of training events to answer questions and clarify key topics.\nKeep up with industry trends and technology to ensure that the team is the authority on any topic that complements or competes with Sonos.\nContinually practice presentational skills to maintain training performance at an elite level.\nContinue to build on the legacy of “best in class” training moments that Sonos has delivered over the last 10+ years.\nWhat You’ll Need:\nBasic Qualifications\nDemonstrated experience, and success with enthusiastic public speaking and on-camera presentations\nEffective experience in communicating knowledge to others\nLanguage fluency in English and German\nThe ability to travel throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia for potential in-person training events on a monthly basis.\nPreferred Qualifications\n1-3 years of experience in the technical education field\nExperience in audio video retail, installation, or design\nExperience managing Learning Management Systems (LMS)\nGood project management and organisational skills\nProficiency in writing in a clear and conversational style\nHumility to identify opportunities in oneself and the team\nA passion for consumer and professional electronics\nExperience collaborating with teammates and cross-functional teams\nExperience planning and executing live events and workshops\nProficient in Microsoft Powerpoint and Google Slides\nProficiency in Adobe Suite, specifically Adobe Premiere \nA curiosity to learn new skills and a dedication to master those skills.\nHighly organized and able to deliver multiple projects at the same time.\nAdditional language fluency in Polish or Italian\nA love of the music and home theater experience\nYour profile will be reviewed and you'll hear from us once we have an update.
