Your responsibilities will include:\n1. RF Testing & Performance Verification:\nExecute and analyze RF performance characterization testsfor new and existing products (e.g., receiver sensitivity, transmitter power, EVM, linearity).\n\nPerform system bring-up, initial debugging, and optimizationof radio designs.\n\nAssist in troubleshooting and resolving complex RF issues, including desensitization, spurious emissions, and basic EMI,using RF test equipment (Spectrum analyzer, VNA , Load Pull and callbox).\n\nCharacterize key RF components (e.g., RFICs, FEMs) to ensure performance meets specifications.\n\nDevelop and define new test procedures or Product Functional Specification (PFS) items to characterize the RF system performance.\n\n2. Test Automation & Tool Development:\nDevelop, implement, and maintain automation scripts and tools using Pythonto streamline RF testing and data analysis.\n\nContribute to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworksand support continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.\n\nContribute to improving test efficiency, reducing test time, and optimizing test processes.\n\n3. Regulatory Compliance Support:\nLead and support in-house radio pre-compliance testing effortsand manage 3rd party radio certification processesfor global markets (FCC, ETSI, SRRC, MIC, etc.).\n\nDesign and build test automation suitesto streamline radio compliance testing conducted at 3rd party labs.\n\nMaintain an in-depth understanding of evolving radio compliance standardsin various regions and global markets, proactively identifying and contributing to strategies for regulatory adherence.\n\n4. Manufacturing & JDM Partner Support:\nProvide technical support and automation for radio production activitiesat Contract Manufacturing (CM) and Joint Development Manufacturing (JDM) partners.\n\nAssist in on-site and remote debugging of radio-related issues during line bring-up and mass production.\n\nContribute to the analysis of factory production line data to identify trends and assist in troubleshooting.\n\nSupport the definition and optimization of manufacturing processes for radio products.\n\n5. Lab & Test Environment Management:\nConfigure and troubleshoot network infrastructure within lab and test environments.\n\nManage and maintain test setups and lab spaces, including test benches and OTA chambers.\n\nPrepare and maintain tools and equipment for compliance testing and travel.\n\n6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate effectively with Hardware, Software, Manufacturing, Compliance, and other engineering teams to debug and optimize overall system performance in highly integrated environments.\nSkills You'll Need:\nBachelor’s degreein Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a closely related field.\n\n3-5 years of hands-on experiencein RF testing, integration, or product development, ideally for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth-enabled consumer electronics devices.\n\nProficiency in Pythonfor test automation and data analysis.\n\nProficient with Git/GitHubfor version control.\n\nExperience with test automation frameworks or CI/CD pipelines.\n\nSolid understanding of RF fundamentals, including common wireless protocols (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth).\n\nHand-on Experience with RF test and measurement equipment(e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, callbox, etc).\n\nFamiliarity with Linux environments.\n\nFamiliarity with global WiFi and BT/BLE regulatory compliance standards (e.g., FCC, CE, ETSI, MIC, SRRC) is a plus.\n\nExperience in supporting manufacturing and debug efforts at CM/JDM facilities is nice to have.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.\n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.\n\nFluency in English and Mandarin.\n\nAbility to work on-site in Shanghai.\n\nYour profile will be reviewed and you'll hear from us once we have an update.
