Qualified applicants must live within commuting distance of our Shanghai office location and should expect to be in office a minimum of 4 days per week.\nThe Workplace Manager is a member of the Real Estate and Workplace team managing all aspects of the workplace for Sonos Shanghai operations. The Workplace Manager is a hands-on position, working on varied tasks relating to the day-to-day management of our Shanghai office, leading on projects and space management that aligns with global real estate strategy.\nYou’ll be the focal point of contact for local teams by creating a productive atmosphere in which people thrive. You are savvy at balancing the needs and emotions of both your customers and your team.\nWhat You’ll Do\nProvide exceptional customer service to all employees, visitors, and vendors. Maintain a professional and welcoming presence at all times.\n\nOversee front desk services including but not limited to mail sorting and distribution, voicemail management, employee service request tickets, and answering general questions.\n\nVendor management; all aspects of vendor selection and management. Act as the key consultant in identifying a need for a vendor change; researching new vendors, presenting options and executing a smooth transition of a new vendor/service.\n\nCoordinating meetings through conference room booking, catering support, and space/layout requests.\n\nSpace planning (MAC) for the office and monitoring utilization reporting.\n\nProcessing of all invoices, purchase requisitions and tracking for accurate budget reporting and management.\n\nManage safety and security programs, working across the global team to ensure consistency with other locations. Ability to act as safety captain in the event of an emergency and oversee building evacuations, escalation to first responders, etc.\n\nOrder and maintain inventory of office supplies, shipping supplies, snacks, and beverages.\n\nShipping & receiving, both international and domestic.\n\nTravel assistance (visa letters, car arrangements and advise)\n\nOther projects or duties as assigned.\n\nWhat You’ll Need\nBasic qualifications\nExcellent communication skills both written and verbal; knows and understands the power of appropriate communication.\n\nFluent in Chinese and English.\n\nAttention to detail; ability to achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task.\n\nCustomer service skills; patient, attentive, knowledgeable, positive, and ability to read your audience.\n\nProject Management: management and oversight of projects, contracts and construction.\n\nTechnology: Facility management technology, security technology and workplace management systems.\n\nProactive, hands-on and able to work independently.\n\n3+ years’ experience in Workplace or similar role.\n\nQualified applicants must live within commuting distance of our Paris office location and should expect to be in office a minimum of 4 days per week.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nPositive attitude and eagerness to learn and help.\n\nExperience working in a corporate environment.\n\nFamiliarity with JIRA, Confluence, Zoom, Slack, Canva, GSuite.\n\nExperience using both Windows and Mac OS, iOS.\n\nHigh-energy with exceptional ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently.\n\nYour profile will be reviewed and you'll hear from us once we have an update.
