This role will assist in evaluating financial and operational data, preparing reports, and providing insights that help guide strategic and operational decision-making.\nIn addition, this person will seek information from the sales team, supply chain management, as well as the operational teams to supplement the background detail of sales results, forecast trends and other relevant business data. This intelligence will then be shared with management so that informed decisions can be made.\nThe ideal candidate needs to have strong analytical skills, is comfortable working with large datasets, and is eager to develop expertise in financial analysis, sales performance analytics, forecasting, and business performance management.\nThis individual will provide support for reporting sales results, including product and customer trends for HQ in Japan.\nFrom time to time this individual may be required to travel to support industry events or attend company events.\nResponsibilities\n\nFinancial Analysis\nAnalyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.\nSupport preparation of monthly financial reports.\nPerform variance analysis comparing actual performance to budget and forecast and share data with management.\nSales Performance Analysis\nAnalyze customer and product sales trends\nPerform sales run rate analysis to estimate projected revenue based on current performance.\nMonitor weekly and monthly sales performance against targets.\nIdentify drivers impacting sales growth or decline.\nBudgeting & Forecasting\nAssist in developing and maintaining financial forecasts and budgets.\nMonitor financial performance against forecasts and provide recommendations.\nAssist with revenue forecasting based on historical sales trends and run rate analysis.\nProcure-to-Pay (P2P)\nVendor Procurement\nPO Creation\nGR/IR Management\nReporting & Data Management\nCreate and maintain financial dashboards and reporting tools.\nPrepare management reports and presentations for leadership teams.\nEnsure accuracy and integrity of financial data.\nAutomate recurring reporting processes when possible.\nBuild and maintain financial models to support management business decisions.\nConduct scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis for revenue and cost projections.\nPartner with departments such as sales, operations, supply chain, and accounting to gather financial information.\nIdentify opportunities to improve reporting processes and financial workflows.\nAssist in implementing automation and analytics tools to improve financial reporting efficiency.\nAd-hoc reports as needed\nMinimum Qualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field\nMinimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a corporate industry environment\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint\nAbility to work with large datasets and convert them into actionable business insights\nExperience performing forecast vs. actual variance analysis\nProven skills in budgeting and forecasting\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to travel up to 10% of the time\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nProficiency in Power BI\nHands-on experience with enterprise systems, specifically SAP/BW\nPrior experience in a similar role within the medical or healthcare industry\nThe anticipated base pay range for this position is $65,989 to $87,986.
