To learn more: www.sony.com/en.\nPOSITION SUMMARY\nSony Corporation of America (“SCA”) is seeking a Spring 2027 law student intern to support the Legal, Ethics & Trust Department. This is a paid internship and the intern will assist lawyers in transactional, litigation and corporate matters. SCA’s law student intern program is designed to provide the intern with hands-on training in a real-world environment of an in-house legal department. Assignments will vary and may include researching and drafting memos, reviewing agreements and other legal documents, and attending client meetings and negotiations.\nInterns will work in person 1-2 days per week from the NYC office and remotely for approximately 15-20 hours/week.\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES\nExperience/background/course work/other indicia of interest in the fields of technology, media, or similar industries \nMinimum of 3.0 GPA \nPrior law firm/judicial internship or related internship experience is a plus \nHighly organized and detail-oriented \nExcellent written and oral communication skills \nAbility to work independently and follow through on tasks until they are completed \nExperience in discreetly handling confidential information preferred \nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite \nMust be enrolled in an ABA accredited law school \nIf applicant is seeking course credit, such applicant must be enrolled in an ABA accredited law school internship/externship or clinical program \nHonesty, trustworthiness and ethical conduct are material requirements for the responsibilities outlined above\nQUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION\nYour qualifications and experience should include:\nSubmit resume, cover letter, law school transcript, and writing sample as part of the application materials \nAvailable to work starting January 2027 until the end of the Spring 2027 semester \nCandidate must be authorized to work in the U.S. \nThe target hourly rate for this internship is $23.00 per hour.
