This role ensures the availability, performance, security, governance, and adoption of Microsoft 365 services across the enterprise.\nThe engineer serves as a technical expert for Microsoft 365 technologies including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Power Platform, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft 365 Copilot. The role partners closely with cybersecurity, infrastructure, compliance, service management, and business stakeholders to deliver a secure and productive digital workplace experience.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nMicrosoft 365 Platform Administration\nAdminister and support Microsoft 365 services including:\nExchange Online\n\nMicrosoft Teams\n\nSharePoint Online\n\nOneDrive for Business\n\nMicrosoft Entra ID (Azure AD)\n\nMicrosoft 365 Groups\n\nMicrosoft 365 Apps\n\nMicrosoft 365 Copilot\n\nManage licensing, service configurations, and tenant administration.\n\nMonitor platform health, performance, and service utilization.\n\nLead troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues.\n\nCollaboration & Productivity Solutions\nDesign and implement collaboration solutions that improve employee productivity.\n\nConfigure and maintain Teams telephony, meeting, and collaboration capabilities.\n\nSupport SharePoint Online site architecture, document management, and information architecture.\n\nDevelop and maintain standards for Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive usage.\n\nSecurity & Compliance\nImplement and maintain Microsoft security and compliance controls.\n\nConfigure and manage:\nMicrosoft Defender\n\nConditional Access Policies\n\nMulti-Factor Authentication (MFA)\n\nData Loss Prevention (DLP)\n\nRetention and Records Management\n\nSensitivity Labels\n\nInformation Protection Policies\n\nPartner with security and compliance teams to meet regulatory and corporate requirements.\n\nParticipate in security assessments, audits, and remediation activities.\n\nMicrosoft 365 Copilot & AI Enablement\nSupport deployment and adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot.\n\nConfigure governance controls for AI-enabled services.\n\nAssist business teams in identifying use cases and opportunities for productivity improvements.\n\nMonitor licensing, adoption metrics, and user feedback.\n\nAutomation & Process Improvement\nDevelop automation solutions using:\nPowerShell\n\nPower Automate\n\nPower Apps\n\nMicrosoft Graph\n\nStreamline operational processes and reduce manual effort through automation.\n\nCreate and maintain scripts for administration, reporting, and maintenance tasks.\n\nArchitecture & Project Delivery\nParticipate in technology projects involving Microsoft 365 services and integrations.\n\nProvide technical leadership for migrations, upgrades, and platform enhancements.\n\nEvaluate new Microsoft features and recommend adoption strategies.\n\nProduce design documentation, implementation plans, and operational procedures.\n\nOperational Support\nServe as a Tier 3 escalation resource for Microsoft 365-related incidents and problems.\n\nParticipate in on-call support and major incident management processes as required.\n\nMaintain service documentation, knowledge articles, and technical standards.\n\nSupport change management and release management activities.\n\nWho You Are:\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\n\nEquivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.\n\nExperience\n5+ years of experience administering Microsoft 365 environments.\n\nExperience supporting enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 tenants.\n\nExperience implementing security and compliance controls within Microsoft 365.\n\nExperience with hybrid identity and authentication technologies.\n\nExperience with PowerShell scripting and automation.\n\nTechnical Skills\nMicrosoft 365
