With a primary focus on P2P and O2C activities, you will work closely with relevant business functions and global teams to drive improvements in operational quality, efficiency, and governance.\nFinance Operations is a critical area of Finance that directly impacts revenue, cash flow, tax compliance, financial risk, and accounting quality. The role requires a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and governance, while also delivering effective operations that support the needs of the business.\nThe role offers a flexible working environment combining office-based and remote work, as well as opportunities to broaden your experience in a global environment through collaboration with colleagues across different regions. You will also have opportunities to expand your career over the long term through job rotations and other development opportunities within Finance.\nResponsibilities:\nOversee P2P operations across Asia, supporting effective invoice and payment processes while maintaining appropriate accounting, compliance, and financial controls.\nOversee O2C operations across Asia, supporting effective billing, accounts receivable, collection, and credit management processes to ensure timely and accurate execution and effective management of receivables and credit risk.\nGuide BPO-delivered O2C and P2P operations by providing process support, maintaining key process documentation, monitoring execution, and resolving operational or control issues.\nDrive improvements in operational quality and efficiency by enhancing and standardizing business processes, leveraging data, and exploring opportunities for automation. You will also collaborate with overseas offices and relevant functions to connect operational challenges and insights from Asia and other regions to broader global improvement initiatives.\nTake on a broad range of assignments based on your experience and capabilities, including opportunities to contribute to cross-functional projects and initiatives involving collaboration with other regions.\nSkills and Qualifications:\nMust-Have:\n5+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance operations, with strong knowledge of O2C/AR, P2P/AP processes, and Korean VAT.\nPractical SAP experience in a finance environment.\nStrong ownership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues and drive them through to resolution.\nEffective English communication skills, with the ability to work across business teams, BPO partners, and regional/global stakeholders.\nAbility to communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, both domestically and internationally, and work collaboratively to drive problem-solving.\nNice-to-Have:\nExperience overseeing outsourced finance operations or working with BPO/shared-service organizations.\nExperience working in a regional or multinational finance environment, including intercompany or cross-border operations.\nExperience participating in finance transformation, system implementation, or process improvement projects.\nExperience in data analysis and reporting using Excel, BI tools, or similar applications.\nJapanese language skills.\nPlease note, Sony Interactive Entertainment conducts background checks at the offer stage for all new employees (which may include criminal background checks for some roles) and will need to process personal information to support these checks.\nPlease refer to our Candidate Privacy Notice for more information about what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your data protection rights.\nEqual Opportunity Statement:\nSony is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
