This role is central to driving cross-functional execution at scale, bringing together teams across technology, product, business, and operations to deliver meaningful outcomes for players worldwide.\nAs both a strategist and executor, the Principal Program Manager will shape program direction, create clarity in complex and ambiguous environments, and drive programs from strategy through execution, launch, and value realization. This leader will anticipate challenges, bring forward clear recommendations, and influence decisions across diverse global teams and senior leadership.\nKey Responsibilities\nProgram Leadership\nLead geographically distributed, cross-functional teams in delivering large-scale programs from strategy and definition through execution, launch, and ongoing value realization.\nTranslate strategic objectives into clear program outcomes, priorities, milestones, success measures, and execution plans.\nDrive end-to-end program outcomes, connecting business objectives, product strategy, technology delivery, and operational readiness.\nCreate structure and clarity in complex or ambiguous environments, ensuring teams remain aligned on priorities, ownership, and desired outcomes.\nServe as a trusted program voice to executives and stakeholders, providing clear visibility into program health, priorities, risks, and decisions.\nStrategic Program Management\nDefine and influence program delivery strategies that balance speed, quality, scalability, investment, and risk.\nEstablish effective program structures, governance, operating rhythms, and decision-making frameworks appropriate to the scale and complexity of the work.\nMaintain a broad perspective across the program, anticipating emerging risks, dependencies, opportunities, and decisions.\nNavigate ambiguity with sound judgment, clearly communicating trade-offs and recommendations to senior leaders.\nAdapt plans as business, technology, and customer needs evolve while maintaining focus on overall program outcomes.\nApply and evolve program management best practices to improve predictability, execution, and business impact.\nCommunication & Collaboration\nBuild strong partnerships across Engineering, Product Management, Design, Quality, Operations, Business, and other functions required to deliver program outcomes.\nInfluence effectively across teams and organizational boundaries, including in situations where priorities, perspectives, or incentives differ.\nProactively identify risks and opportunities, framing complex issues clearly and bringing forward options and recommendations.\nSynthesize complex information into concise, actionable communication for senior leaders and executive audiences.\nEstablish transparent, data-driven reporting that provides a reliable source of truth for program health and decision-making.\nFoster shared ownership and accountability across teams, ensuring actions and decisions are driven through to resolution.\nOrganizational Impact & Innovation\nIdentify opportunities to simplify ways of working, reduce unnecessary overhead, and accelerate cross-functional execution.\nDevelop and apply scalable approaches, frameworks, and best practices that strengthen program delivery beyond an individual initiative.\nUse data, insights, and measurable outcomes to evaluate program effectiveness and inform decisions.\nChallenge existing approaches where appropriate and help teams continuously improve how they plan, collaborate, and deliver.\nProvide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to Program Managers and Technical Program Managers supporting the program.\nWhere applicable, provide strategic oversight of a broader program management team.\nLeadership & Culture\nAct with ownership, accountability, urgency, and strong judgment in delivering results.\nCreate an environment where teams can openly surface risks, challenge assumptions, and work through difficult issues to drive meaningful change.\nModel collaborative leadership and help others operate with greater clarity, confidence, and ownership.\nQualifications & Requirements\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.\n7+ years of experience leading large-scale, complex technology or consumer-facing programs across multiple functions and organizational boundaries.\nDemonstrated success leading programs across one or more areas such as software, hardware, platforms, services, infrastructure, digital experiences, or business capabilities.\nProven ability to operate effectively in complex and ambiguous environments and translate strategic objectives into executable programs.\nStrong experience establishing program structures, governance models, operating rhythms, and decision-making frameworks.\nDemonstrated ability to identify and communicate risks, options, trade-offs, and recommendations to senior leaders.\nProven ability to influence senior executives and work effectively across multiple organizational levels without relying on direct authority.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and focus audiences on the decisions and outcomes that matter most.\nExperience using data, metrics, and measurable outcomes to assess program health, guide decisions, and evaluate impact.\nStrong critical thinking and judgment, with the ability to connect near-term execution to broader business and organizational objectives.\nExperience providing leadership, mentorship, or guidance to other program management professionals.\nSkilled at working across diverse, geographically distributed teams and external partners.\nKnowledge of the gaming, digital entertainment, or consumer technology industry preferred, but not required.\nAt SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.\nPlease note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience,
