The role converts agreed architecture and service needs into reliable production solutions that help teams detect issues earlier, resolve appropriate casessafely, and spend more time on high value employee enablement. This individual owns substantial engineering work from technical design through testing, deployment, monitoring, and operational handover. \nWhat you’ll be doing:\nSolution delivery \nLead technical design and implementation for defined complex automation or integration initiatives within agreed architecture and security standards. \nBuild and integrate APIs, workflows, scripts, and platform capabilities across employee technology and support systems. \nUse endpoint and service signals to support detection, validation, approved remediation, exception handling, and outcome recording. \nPlan and execute testing, deployment, monitoring, rollback, documentation, and operational handover. \nPlatform engineering and integration \nDesign and implement robust integrations across relevant services such as ServiceNow, Moveworks, Jira, Slack, Nexthink, Jamf, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Graph. \nDevelop API connectors and orchestrated workflows that handle authentication, permissions, pagination, rate limits, retries, data mapping, and platform failures. \nBuild reusable components and deployment practices that make new use cases faster to deliver without creating fragile dependencies. \nWork with platform owners to validateinterfaces, test data flows, and resolve integration issues across systems. \nPredictive support and AI \nTurn agreed telemetry and service use cases into production detection, triage, notification, guided resolution, or approved remediation workflows. \nImplement safeguards such as eligibility checks, thresholds, approvals, idempotency, audit logs, rollback, and escalation for unresolved or unsafe cases. \nIntegrate AI assistedcapabilities where approved, evaluate output quality against defined cases, and keep a supported path for uncertain results. \nInstrument solutions so teams can distinguish executions, successful resolutions, employee outcomes, and exceptions. \nTechnical development and operations \nDevelop and review Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or similar code; use source control, automated tests, peer review, and deployment controls. \nOptimizeperformance and reliability, investigate complex failures, and maintaindocumentation and runbooks for production support. \nEngineering practice and collaboration \nDocument implementationtradeoffs and work with architecture and policy owners on decisions that cross platform boundaries. \nReview code and designs within assigned initiatives; coach other engineers and promote maintainable, reusable components. \nPartner with operations and platform owners to improve deployed solutions from production feedback and observedfailure modes. \nInvestigate complex technical issues spanning systems and improve reliability after release. \nWhat we are looking for:\nRequired \nStrong experience delivering and operating production integrations, automation, or service workflows. \nProficiencyin at least one relevant language such as Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript, plus API integration and testing practices. \nExperience owning complex work through design, deployment, monitoring, and support handover. \nAbility to work with platform owners and explain implementation choices to technical and nontechnical partners. \nDegree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience. \nExperience with authentication, data mapping, error handling, observability, and resilience in enterprise API integrations. \nAbility to lead technical delivery across multiple contributors and improve solutions after release. \nPreferred \nExperience with employee technology, endpoint telemetry, service management, or collaboration platforms. \nAI assistedworkflows, cloud services, and secure automation controls. \nBenefits:\nDiscretionary bonus opportunity\nPrivate Medical Insurance\nDental Scheme\n25 days holiday per year\nOn Site Gym\nSubsidised Café\nFree soft drinks\nOn site bar\nAccess to cycle garage and showers\nPlease note, Sony Interactive Entertainment conducts background checks at the offer stage for all new employees (which may include criminal background checks for some roles) and will need to process personal information to support these checks.\nPlease refer to our Candidate Privacy Notice for more information about what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your data protection rights.\nEqual Opportunity Statement:\nSony is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
