You will contribute to operational support, platform development, integrations, maintenance, and documentation while working with experienced developers, architects, and business partners.\nThe level of responsibility will be aligned with the successful candidate’s demonstrated skills and experience. Mid-level developers will be expected to complete routine assignments with greater independence.\nThis position offers opportunities to expand your ServiceNow expertise through hands-on development, code and design reviews, and platform initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities\nOperational Support\nSupport queue management, incident investigation and mitigation, request fulfillment, and routine platform maintenance.\nMonitor platform health, logs, scheduled jobs, and integrations; investigate issues and coordinate with dependent teams when necessary.\nDocument issues, findings, resolutions, and follow-up actions.\nParticipate in agile team activities, including stand-ups and planning.\nManage incident response during regular working hours and engage with global colleagues for handovers as needed.\nIntegration Development and Support\nDevelop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems using technologies such as IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, REST or SOAP APIs, and MID Servers.\nMonitor and troubleshoot existing integrations and implement fixes appropriate to your experience level.\nParticipate in integration testing, validation, error handling, and reconciliation to support accurate and reliable data exchange.\nApply approved authentication, credential-management, security, and data-handling practices.\nPlatform Development and Engineering\nConfigure, develop, test, and enhance ServiceNow solutions using components such as Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Transform Maps, Import Sets, and Flows.\nSupport platform upgrades, patches, clones, releases, and routine maintenance.\nCreate maintainable solutions that follow established development, security, testing, and accessibility standards.\nParticipate in peer reviews and address feedback before deployment.\nHelp identify opportunities to improve platform reliability, usability, and support processes.\nCollaboration and Professional Development\nWork with developers, architects, product owners, administrators, and teams such as ITSM, HRIS, ITOM, Security, and external vendors.\nTranslate clearly defined business requirements into technical solutions, seeking guidance when requirements or risks are unclear.\nParticipate in technical design discussions, code reviews, troubleshooting sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities.\nDevelop knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, APIs, authentication, data management, and secure development practices.\nDocumentation and Governance\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, integration mappings, process flows, support procedures, and runbooks.\nEnsure work complies with applicable governance, change-management, security, privacy, and data-protection requirements.\nContribute reusable guidance and resolved issues to team wiki/confluence spaces.\nMinimum Qualifications\nApplicants should meet most of the following qualifications:\nApproximately 3-5 years of relevant experience with ServiceNow, another enterprise workflow platform, or a combination of related education, training, and practical experience.\nWorking knowledge of ServiceNow configuration and development concepts.\nExperience with ITSM processes such as Incident, Change, Problem, or Request Management.\nExperience with JavaScript or a comparable scripting language. ServiceNow-specific scripting and Glide API experience may be developed in the role.\nFoundational understanding of REST APIs, web services, authentication, and data integrations.\nAbility to investigate technical issues, document findings, and communicate when assistance is needed.\nAbility to collaborate with technical and nontechnical colleagues.\nServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification, or willingness to obtain it.\nPreferred Qualifications\nThe following qualifications are helpful but not required. We encourage candidates to apply even if they do not meet every preferred qualification.\nExperience with IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, REST or SOAP integrations, or MID Servers.\nFamiliarity with CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, Hardware Asset Management, or Software Asset Management.\nExposure to source control, automated testing, CI/CD, or ServiceNow Automated Test Framework.\nExperience with Platform Analytics or Performance Analytics.\nFamiliarity with capabilities such as Virtual Agent, AI Search, or Now Assist.\nServiceNow certifications such as Certified Application Developer or relevant implementation specialist credentials.\nSkills and Working Approach\nCommunicates progress, risks, questions, and technical information clearly.\nAccepts and applies constructive feedback.\nOrganizes assigned work and follows through on agreed commitments.\nWorks collaboratively and respectfully with colleagues from different roles and backgrounds.\nBalances independent problem-solving with timely escalation.\nDemonstrates interest in continued technical and professional development.\nAt SIE, working with our partners, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location. \nPlease note that the individual base pay range may vary based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.\nIn addition, this role is eligible for benefit offerings that include medical, dental, and vision.
