This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with hands-on expertise in Collibra Data Catalog, Lineage, Metamodel customization, Reference Data Management (RDM), and Metadata Management, along with experience working with Databricks Unity Catalog. As a key member of our enterprise data governance initiative, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and enhancing metadata management, cataloging, and lineage solutions that improve data discoverability, transparency, compliance, and trust across the organization.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n1. Data Catalog & Metadata Management:\n\n- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-wide Collibra Data Catalog solutions.\n\n- Manage metadata onboarding, asset registration, and metadata lifecycle processes.\n\n- Develop and maintain Business Glossaries, Data Dictionaries, Data Domains, and Data Catalog structures.\n\n- Define and implement metadata governance standards and best practices.\n\n2. Data Lineage:\n\n- Build, maintain, and enhance end-to-end technical and business data lineage across enterprise data platforms.\n\n- Configure Collibra Lineage integrations to provide source-to-target traceability and impact analysis.\n\n- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Architecture, and BI teams to onboard lineage from databases, ETL tools, analytics platforms, and cloud ecosystems.\n\n3. Collibra Platform Development:\n\n- Configure and customize the Collibra Operating Model and Metamodel.\n\n- Create and manage communities, domains, asset types, relationships, attributes, and workflows.\n\n- Develop automation and integrations using Collibra APIs, Workflows, and REST services.\n\n- Support platform administration, optimization, and enhancements.\n\n4. Reference Data & Governance :\n\n- Implement and manage Collibra Reference Data Management (RDM) solutions.\n\n- Establish governance processes for reference data stewardship, approvals, versioning, and lifecycle management.\n\n- Partner with business and data governance stakeholders to improve data quality, standardization, and governance adoption.\n\n5. Databricks Unity Catalog :\n\n- Support governance, metadata management, and lineage integration for Databricks Unity Catalog.\n\n- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to govern data assets across the Databricks Lakehouse environment.\n\n- Enable metadata synchronization, data classification, and governance controls between Collibra and Databricks platforms.\n\n6. Stakeholder Engagement :\n\n- Work closely with Data Owners, Data Stewards, Architects, Engineers, Product Owners, and Business Users.\n\n- Translate business requirements into scalable metadata and governance solutions.\n\n- Provide best-practice guidance on cataloging, lineage, governance, and metadata management initiatives.\n\nRequired Qualifications :\n\n1. Experience :\n\n- 5+ years of experience in Data Management, Data Governance, Metadata Management, or Data Analytics.\n\n- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting Collibra Data Intelligence Platform.\n\n2. Technical Expertise :\n\n- Strong hands-on experience with Collibra Data Catalog, Collibra Lineage, Business Glossary, Metadata Management, Data Stewardship, Collibra Workflow Configuration, and Collibra Operating Model.\n\n- Experience with Collibra Metamodel customization.\n\n- Strong experience with Reference Data Management (RDM) in Collibra.\n\n- Experience working with Databricks Unity Catalog.\n\n- Proficiency in SQL and metadata analysis.\n\n- Experience with REST APIs, metadata integrations, and automation frameworks.\n\n3.
