We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join an international team working on a cutting-edge Backstage.io Developer Portal initiative. This role offers the opportunity to shape and enhance the developer experience across a global organization through modern cloud-native technologies and automation practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and improve integrations within the Backstage.io platform.
- Build and optimize cloud-native infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitOps methodologies.
- Collaborate with international development and platform engineering teams.
- Drive automation, scalability, reliability and operational excellence across the ecosystem.
- Contribute to improving developer productivity and platform adoption.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with Backstage.io
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes, particularly AWS EKS
- Experience with Terraform and ArgoCD
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, Docker and cloud-native environments
- Scripting skills in Python and/or Bash
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Fluent English
