We are passionate about people and invest in you to support the development of the European space industry.\n Key Responsibilities:\nImprove existing environmental test facilities, processes, and test methods;\nDevelop and implement new test facilities and testing techniques to support future space missions and technologies;\nSupervise and support maintenance, calibration, repair, and operational activities across environmental test facilities;\nProvide technical support to Test Centre customers throughout test campaigns;\nSupport the planning and execution of environmental test activities for spacecraft, payloads, and subsystems;\nParticipate in technical project reviews and tender evaluation boards, particularly within Assembly, Integration and Verification (AIV) activities;\nEnsure facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable standards and procedures;\n Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Aeronautics, Astronautics, or a related technical discipline;\nMinimum 4 years of relevant professional experience;\nHands-on experience with the design, operation, maintenance, or improvement of environmental test facilities used for space hardware;\nExperience with one or more environmental testing systems, including:Thermal Vacuum (TVAC)\nVibration Testing\nAcoustic Testing\nShock Testing\nElectromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Testing\n\nKnowledge of Assembly, Integration and Verification (AIV) processes for space systems;\nExperience supporting environmental test campaigns for spacecraft, payloads, instruments, or subsystems;\nFamiliarity with calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring of complex test equipment;\nStrong technical problem-solving and analytical skills;\nExcellent communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary international teams;\nFluency in English;\nDesirable Skills\nExperience gained within ESA, space agencies, or the aerospace sector;\nKnowledge of space qualification standards and environmental testing requirements;\nExperience supporting facility upgrades, new equipment implementation, or test process improvements; \n This job is located in Noordwijk, Netherlands.\nIf you think you have what it takes for this job, please send your CV (in English and in Word or PDF) by clicking on the button “Apply for this job” quoting job NL-HP-26190.\nAn exciting and dynamic international working environment awaits you!\nInclusive and committed employer, our company works every day to combat all forms of discrimination and promote a respectful working environment.
