Their role will be to test embedded software applications on aircraft and space system such as engine control, flight management systems and display/avionics systems. The role may evolve to perform software development.\nResponsibilities:\nCarry out the software testing in accordance with DO-178.\nDevelop and run the relevant tests on the test platforms to verify correctness of design.\nDebug issues (raised during the software development cycle) in the engine control software.\nEnsure traceability between all the software design and tests artefacts.\nConduct independent peer reviews on tests produced by other team members.\nDraft all the final technical documents.\nProvide a clear status and workload to your lead.\nParticipate to continuous improvement of the team performance (quality, efficiency, on-time delivery).\n Requirements:\nBachelor degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Science or equivalent.\n2-6 years experience in a similar position.\nExperience with engine control software.\nInterest in troubleshoot complex software problems.\nKnowledge of DO-178.\nKnowledge of C language, and scripting languages like Python.\nKnowledge of SCADE, Matlab / Simulink or equivalent.\nKnowledge of testing tools Rational RTRT and / or LDRA.\nSoftware Knowledge: Microsoft Office, DOORS, SVN.\nBasic knowledge in communication protocols such as CAN, ARINC, RS-422, Ethernet.\nGood communication, interpersonal skills, team-player.\nCuriosity, autonomy, pro-activity and ability to find solutions and compromises.\nPlease note that only
